Calma Home

The resort was in the middle of the island so you get the best of both worlds (the beach and the "forest"). The staff were friendly. A few unforseen things happened here and there but they were quick to give a solution. The stairs were a bit of a challenge but also part of Calma's charm. The only downside is that they don't have a power generator. I still give it a 10 and would definitely book again for future Boracay trips.

I stayed at Calma Home from September 5–8, and the place was really nice for a chill and relaxing staycation. The pool was always clean, plus the sauna and ice bath were such nice additions. I stayed in the 4-Dorm Female Room, and the best part for me was the very comfy foam and the big, clean bathroom—which is a high priority for me. I was also alone in the room for the first 3 nights, and my roommate only arrived on my last day of stay. The staff were all nice and friendly. They also have a sunset café on the third floor where they serve limited food and drinks. It’s quite pricey, but masaaraaaap! 😂 They also have different activities for guests, but I only joined the Slow Yoga class with Heman. The class was almost two hours, and Heman was very patient with me since it was my first time doing yoga. He also adjusted some of the poses for beginners, which I really appreciated. It was such a nice experience that even after I got back home, I found myself doing some night yoga hehe. One thing I also liked is that it’s just around a 10-minute walk from White Beach, so it’s still convenient if you want to go to the beach. The only con for me is that the place is located quite high up, so there are a looooot of stairs. If you have big luggage like me, I’d recommend hiring a tricycle from the port to take you all the way up. Since it’s also a bit secluded, I usually went back to the accommodation around 5 PM, especially since I was traveling solo. Overall, Calma Home felt more like a real rest place for me rather than just an accommodation. Guests are welcome to sleep and relax whenever they want—on the couch, near the pool, at the café, basically wherever you feel comfortable. 😂 It was honestly a really nice place to slow down, rest, and just do nothing for a while. ❤️

I will never forget my experience In Calma Home, the staff were friendly, facilities are good and they also have good food, but most Importantly the peace that toy will feel when you stay there and the healing you will get when you stay there was so different and I will never forget it. Calma Is a must have for everyone not just for people that looking for good place to stay but for everyone that wanted to hear their own thoughts while resting and reflect and realize alot of things ₊˚⊹♡
