An underrated hotel! The room is clean and neat, and the staff are very helpful—they even allowed us to check in early. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and is just a 30-second walk to Testaccio Market. Although it’s a bit far from the main tourist attractions, the transportation connections are convenient. You can take a bus right outside the hotel and reach Vatican City directly, even early in the morning around 5–6 a.m. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as some interesting monuments to see along the way to the metro station.
By the way, the hotel prices offer larger rooms if comparing with others, and the exterior of the building looks very modern as well. We think it’s worth every penny, especially since we visited during the Jubilee Year.

room was so great with the huge balcony, can enjoy the wine in the night, or easily grab Mc'D in the mid of night, because it was just so near the hotel..

We visited Rome during a heatwave and we are so glad we booked the Sonder. The room was spacious and air conditioned, had all the basic amenities we needed and our own private balcony - which was perfect for me to use to catch some rays and for my partner to stay inside in the cool air. Every staff member was incredibly helpful and friendly, this was our first Sonder experience and now I will be looking for a Sonder for all my future city breaks!
While staying in Rome we used a Roma pass, our location was very handy both for buses and it was just a short walk to the closest metro. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby but out of the way of the main touristy areas so was relatively quiet.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. We didn’t really have an issue with noise even though the hotel gave us complementary ear plugs! Service was impeccable and friendly. Our only gripe was the location which was quite a distance from the places we wanted to go. It was abt a 30 mins walk to the city centre. Otherwise, there are restaurants and convenience stores in the Testaccio building itself. Will recommend the hotel still as it was a nice respite!
