A very special place on the river
Staff is exceptional. Braxton does a wonderful job. The pool is clean. Awesome food.

I would’ve expected higher standards for the price that we paid for our room. Although the resort is located in a great area, the facilities and rooms are simply not up to par. They are honestly dated and in disrepair. Our AC didn’t work properly, but it was already midnight by the time we realized it was not cooling the room sufficiently, so we didn’t bother notifying the staff. The faucets were loose, the toilet handle was loose, the chair in our room was completely broken and would just fall off lopsided instead of swivel. We thought after reading the previous reviews that if we opted for the higher end option, that we would receive the higher end room, but it simply did not materialize. Although all of the staff were amazing and friendly, their service just can’t make us forget the significant shortcomings of the resort. It’s really unfortunate, because it truly is in a magical place along the river.

We stayed here for a couple nights and it was perfect for a short stay since it's a bit far from activities. The staff offers great customer service as well. The only downfall would be cleanliness.
