Balboa Inn is a lovely spot for your next getaway. My wife and I snuck away for an overnight and instantly fell in love with Balboa Inn. The location on the peninsula right next to the Pier is less than a minute walk with lots of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops for a quick bite or something more substantial. The Inn itself has a cozy Spanish style vibe with the rooms above the main lobby and other storefronts. The room we had was a corner room that overlooked the street with a view to the ocean. It felt so lively with people filling the bars below and relaxing at the same time. The room itself had a very comfortable king bed and the bathroom and shower were very nice. Balboa Inn also has the best team on hand. Kenny made us feel very welcome and had great knowledge regarding the area. His service was excellent! Valet parking is extra but is very worth it. We cannot wait to stay here again for a longer getaway!

Good location, just near the pier plus good restaurant.
Staffs were SUPERB very helpful and never hesitate to give extra help to me.
Have the best room with the sea view for the 6 nights.
Lucky me streets were not busy so basically no noise during my stay.
Would surely comeback to this hotel agaib

We came here for our one year anniversary and my wife and I had the most incredible time staff was very welcoming and helpful and made our day even more special and Thank you so much to Laura in the front desk who with an amazing customer service made us feel welcome and made sure we where taken care of this experience couldn’t have been this incredible without and the the rest of the staff.

Room is dated. Fixtures, lighting, electronics, and furniture were subpar. AC did not work. Great location for an overnight beach trip.
