    I was assigned a room that was very tricky and led to two sleepless nights. The room, first of all, was just off the sun deck and so required the shade down to be in the room with any privacy. The first night, the dumpsters were empited at 3 AM, just below the windows. And finally, as it was an accessible room, the shower was a handheld, which is usually fine. In this room, the hook for the head was too low to be functional and the mechanism by which the water shifted from the tub spigot to the showerhead was not functioning, so there was very little water coming out of the spray. I think if I were in a different room, it would have been fine. But they could not change the room and I was only there for two nights, so be it.

    Atlantic Beach Hotel – Disappointing Experience At first glance, the name Atlantic Beach Hotel sounds promising, especially given its location right across the street from the ocean—you can walk to the beach, which is great. But that’s where the positives end. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, especially at a rate of $360 per night. There was no breakfast included, and the beds and sheets had an unpleasant odor. The staff was uncooperative, particularly the night shift attendant, who declined every request I made, simply stating it was July 4th weekend and the hotel was fully booked. The rooms were outdated, with low-quality beds and bed frames. The mini fridge freezer was packed with frost, making it impossible to use unless you defrosted it yourself. The door lock on Room 128 was faulty—you had to use excessive force just to get in. Ironically, the receptionist was fully aware of this issue and even laughed, telling me to “just push it hard.” Looking back, I regret booking this hotel. I could’ve easily stayed 5 miles away in a better place for less money. If you're charging premium prices, at least renovate the property and improve your service standards.
