I am quite disappointed with my stay here. The photos posted here and in there website is super unrealistic. It was way beyond different from the actual. I booked a VIP room expecting a nice and relaxing room. Even put a note on requests. But none were granted. After I entered the VIP room, I immediately called the lobby about the room, the lobby receptionist told me if my concern is the chair, they can provide me one. But I asked, is this really your best room? I mean, who wouldn't expect with a word VIP. You're supposed to get a VIP relaxation at the very least. There was no single chair in the room. The VIP room was large enough but it felt so empty. Long story short, they transferred me to 5th floor and was told that if it was okay with me. It was not a VIP, it was downgrade room. A deluxe room I guess. But I chose it anyways. Why? The room is visibly much comforting that the first room at 304. Aside from that, VIP room air-conditioning unit have a noise that rings thru my ears. I am partial deaf and this AC noise is giving me vibration. The second room is a bit smaller than what I booked and paid, but it was okay. The staff were nice enough. They were assisting, kind, accommodating. I just feel sad that it was my first time to enter an Astrotel but probably my last. I think I expected too much with a VIP. I think, you should just named that Galaxy room instead of VIP to avoid confusion and of course, don't let your clients expect too much. A room should have a table and chair, a hanger for clothing at least. There were none in that VIP room. I had 3 hours of sleep. It's not longer than I thought but it's okay. The food, it's good. I even complimented them. The downside of it, you have to pay for cash. You need to go down the lobby to pay for QR or GCash. Hopefully they can make way how to make their clients be convenient with their payment options. That's why you are ordering from your room, to avoid going down. But you have to go down because their terminal is not working way beyond their front desk, which to this day is very outdated. The wifi signal is too low. I used my data internet instead. Sorry, I need to be honest with my review. Hoping the management will make a way on how their clients be comfortable and relaxed during a stay. Not all the time, it was for short stay. I am in my age that I am trying different hotels to stay for awhile and I just really feel sad that I have a worst experience with them. But I was safe and the staff, again, they were nice! Thank you.
