When we arrived, we tried to check in, spoke to reception and he was rude and abrupt and said “you need a code”, we said what do you mean where do we get a code from, he said just speak to the owners. I went away and messaged the owners on the Agoda app that I booked the room on, they didn’t respond, sat there for about 30 mins and still no response, I emailed them aswell, nothing. Eventually the man at reception said “oh you need this number to message them”…. Yeah thanks mate 30 minutes later, why not give it straight away? We spent about 45 mins sat in reception. I have stayed in this apartment block before and not had this problem.
Once we were in the room, it also wasn’t great, the bed was awful, gave me back pain, not comfortable at all, felt like it was about 50 years old. Also in the bathroom the flooring was cracking. Location wise- can find so much better, which we did after our stay, a small hotel in the center of Poblado for the same money, and amazingly comfy bed, and a jacuzzi in our room, it was so so much better.
I wouldn’t stay here again. The room needs more attention. Bad experience.
