I had a very good experience staying at Ancient Paradise Hotel. The staff were extremely polite, helpful, and supportive throughout my stay. A special mention to them for allowing me to store my luggage safely while I was traveling to Sapa, which made my trip much more convenient and stress-free.
The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The hotel is also perfectly located in the heart of the Old Quarter, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, food spots, and shops—all within walking distance.
The breakfast was another highlight. There was a really good spread with both local and international options, including a nice selection of Western breakfast items. Everything was fresh and well-prepared.
Overall, great service, excellent location, clean rooms, and a satisfying breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Hotel staff were lovely and helpful .
Location was really good, great place and popular with families.
Rooms were clean and little to no noise on the upper floor.

Nice little hotel in the heart of Old quarter. Great location. One of the staff could be a bit more friendlier - the rest were really nice. Can’t fault it for the price- worth the money.

The lift does not connect to the hotel entrance, so guests must climb stairs to access the lift lobby. This makes the hotel unsuitable for elderly guests or those with mobility issues.
Additionally, The reception staff were unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome, as if we were staying without paying.
