Overall, the staff and security guard were friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated their hospitality. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively affected by excessive noise from a group of tourists who were having a team-building activity at night. Their music was extremely loud and could clearly be heard from our rooms and the beach area. We chose this place hoping to relax with our family, enjoy the sounds of nature and the waves, and spend some peaceful time together. I initially approached the management desk at the cafeteria and politely asked if they could request the group to lower the volume because the music was disturbing guests in their rooms. Unfortunately, there did not appear to be any action taken. I later approached a staff member who was walking in our direction and explained the situation again. Despite this, the noise continued. The most disappointing part happened when I moved to the far end of the beach to get away from the loud music and enjoy some quiet time. Instead, the group brought a portable speaker close to where I was sitting. I approached them politely and explained that we were also paying guests and simply wanted to enjoy our family time without being disturbed by loud music. They turned the music down temporarily, but only a few minutes later, they turned it up again while continuing to laugh and scream loudly. I understand that guests are allowed to enjoy themselves, but management should also consider the comfort and experience of **all guests**, not just one group. Paying guests should be able to enjoy the property peacefully, especially at night. We hope management can improve its handling of noise complaints and ensure that activities do not disturb other guests. A better balance between group activities and the comfort of other guests would make the experience much more enjoyable for families who come to relax and bond. We appreciate the kindness of the staff and security guard, but unfortunately, the lack of effective action regarding the noise significantly affected our family bonding experience.

staff are very accommodating - just the location far from city proper hard to coomute but the place is quite ,. if you love nature you will love this place- Food is good just you have to wait for it maybe they have only one cook but worth to wait.

Great beach front and it also has a pool. So peaceful and private which is what we are looking for. It’s also near the place where you could rent a boat going to Virgin Island. You should know how to ride a motorcycle bike coz it’s a bit far from Sta. Fe and other restaurants or cafes. But in general the place is great and staffs are helpful!

It was my mother’s first time visiting Bantayan Island, and I specifically chose Anaya Villas Resort because it looked peaceful, exclusive, and like the perfect place to relax away from the stress of everyday life. As always, I booked our stay through Agoda, which has always been my go-to platform for hotels and resorts. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a memorable family vacation turned into a very disappointing and stressful experience. When we arrived at the resort, the receptionist informed us that we did not have a room available, despite the fact that our Agoda booking was fully confirmed and paid for. They could even see in their own system that we had paid for a 3-day, 2-night stay from August 5–7, 2026, yet they still insisted that there was no room assigned to us. They even asked if I had cancelled the reservation, which I absolutely had not. Thankfully, I had all of my Agoda confirmation documents with me. What made the situation even worse was the way it was handled. Instead of reassuring us or sincerely apologizing, the receptionist came across as dismissive and gave the impression that accommodating us was more of an inconvenience than a responsibility. There was very little effort to make us feel welcome after their mistake. After waiting and trying to resolve the issue, we were told that although we had paid for two nights, we could only stay at Anaya Villas for the first night. For the second night, we would have to transfer to one of their other resorts located in a different part of Bantayan Island. Imagine having to pack all of your belongings again, load everything into the car, and relocate in the middle of your vacation. I was traveling with my mother, my wife, and my young daughter, so this unnecessary transfer completely disrupted what should have been a relaxing family trip. We were fortunate to have brought our own vehicle because it would have been even more difficult for guests relying on public transportation. The most alarming part was that on our second day, I overheard another group checking in who appeared to be experiencing the exact same issue. That made me question whether this was an isolated mistake or an ongoing problem with how reservations are managed. I understand that booking errors can happen, but what matters is how a business responds. Unfortunately, this experience reflected poor reservation management, poor communication, and a lack of genuine concern for guests who had already paid in full and traveled to enjoy their vacation. If you’re planning to stay at Anaya Villas Resort, I strongly encourage you to think carefully before booking. No family should have to begin their vacation wondering whether the room they paid for actually exists or whether they’ll be forced to move resorts halfway through their stay. I sincerely hope the management addresses these issues so that future guests won’t have to go through the same frustrating experience that my family did.
