The room itself was decent, very clean and had enough ventilation. Even a kettle was provided.
The location though is a bit far off from the city centre (about 1.8km) and there are no restaurants nearby (zomato works). Also the hot water timing is 6-9 am which was a bit inconvenient but the owner and staff are cooperative and take special requests.

the stay at ammu cottage was good for the price we payed.
The owners are very friendly and helpful whenever there was a problem.
The location of the place is nice if you have a scooter/car, otherwise you need to walk for about 25min to reach town.
The room was overall clean, the only thing which was not that nice, was that the bed sheets were a lot stained and broken.
We couldnt use the blanket and we ask for new sheets but somehow no sheets were available.
The owner wanted to offer us another room which was very kind, but we didnt accept because the room all over was fine. instead we got a thin blanket but it got cold during the night so we were freezing.
Also it was written down, there would be warm water (but only in the morning between 7-9am) the rest of the day there was freezing cold water.
Anyway, overall we had a nice stay at Ammu Cottage!

Communication issue with the staff and parking was also an issue and the maintainance was a very big problem especially washrooms
