    The place is beautiful and peaceful, the location was great as you can see the mountains and nature , if the road was in a good condition you won’t take long to get the place and also it is rainy season so the roads is pretty muddy but if you have a high car or off-road car it is perfect match ❤️

    The villa was absolutely stunning and the staff were excellent, friendly and always helpful. There’s a great range of unique and fun activities on offer, so make sure to request the full catalogue ahead of time to plan your stay. We only received it on check‑in day, so we ended up just trying the massages and the therapists were fabulous. Access is a bit of a challenge: the last few kilometres are on an unmade road, which gets muddy and tricky in the green season when it rains. It realistically takes 30+ minutes to reach Kampot city proper, and a one‑way tuk‑tuk through the hotel costs $15, so daily trips can add up. Grab is cheaper, but Sun, who works with the hotel, was such a nice and helpful driver that we regretted renting scooters and wished we’d just hired him for our stay. We were told a road is in preparation, which should improve things. Overall, a beautiful, service‑focused villa experience.

    I would like to share my disappointing experience with Amaya Hotel regarding my booking. I requested a simple change to my check-in date from 17 July to 18 July, but the hotel refused to accommodate the request. Instead, they strictly enforced their policy and insisted on charging me as a no-show, even though I only wanted to adjust the check-in by one day. I understand that hotels have policies, but I expected a more reasonable and customer-friendly approach. Unfortunately, my experience was that the hotel seemed more focused on collecting fees than helping guests with a minor booking change. Based on my experience, I recommend that anyone planning to stay at Amaya Hotel carefully review the booking terms before making a reservation, as they may not offer flexibility if your travel plans change. Overall, I am disappointed with the level of customer service and flexibility provided.
