The location is good, but you do need to go around to get to the beach. The breakfast was really good too, you just have to not mind the cats coming to the dining area. There is free water in the common area, the room and bathroom were clean and the size was good for 2. The front desk staff are a little intimidating, and there were a lot of reviews about that. But overall, it was ok. Just dont go there when it rain as the area floods really easy

We stayed at this hostel for 3D2N back in May 2025, and I would say our experience was neither particularly pleasant nor terrible — just okay. During our stay, the weather was very unpredictable. It would be hot and sunny in the morning, then suddenly pour heavily an hour later. We ended up cold and soaked from the rain, and when we returned to our room, there was a power blackout. Our towels were already wet, and when we requested fresh ones, we were told there would be an extra charge. Since the hostel is located near the beach, it’s expected that guests may return to their rooms with some sand. Unfortunately, the room was not cleaned or serviced throughout the day, even after we requested it. Overall, the experience was average.

The place is clean, has a very good vibe, and the staff are friendly. They also have good facilities. It is a very quiet place and very accessible to restaurants, the beach, and more. There is a secure parking area, and it stands out from other resorts in the same price range.

During our stay , there was a water problem, after opening the faucet you should wait for 5mins for the water to flow. The food in Payak Kain breakfast is not good. Some influencer I watched in youtube said that adobo is good, but its super sour just like paksiw. Some guests are loud and the staff is going back and forth in the morning so we can hear them and disturbing us. The curtain is very thin as well.
