Location is no more than a 15 minute walk (5 minute drive) away from Reading Market and the Philadelphia bus station. Affordable and just enough room for a solo traveler. There is a convenience market directly across the street. Building is 100 plus years old, so the room/facilities are as expected. Complementary breakfast and evening social is such a plus along with the great location!

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing. The room was extremely small and did not match the photos shown on the hotel’s website. The décor felt outdated and was quite different from what was advertised.
Another inconvenience was the air conditioning system, as guests cannot adjust the temperature themselves and must call the reception desk each time they want it changed.
Considering the quality of the room and facilities, I found the price to be much higher than it should have been. The only positive aspect of my stay was the staff, who were friendly and helpful throughout.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, as it did not provide good value for the price paid.
