Adults Only Club at Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort All Inclusive

This is one of the best places place Cana. There is nothing bad about this hotel!

Family club. Not great for solo travelers.

So the reason I have a 5 star review was bc you cannot get any service without an employee running you down to give them a 5 star review in addition to requesting a pic of it. I am giving it a 4 bc it is a beautiful place and I didn’t have a needed to leave the hotel. The PROs: 1. Grounds of hotel are gorgeous the pools were amazing and I really liked all the decor I saw. 2. The rooms are large, I shared it with a friend and the double beds were comfortable and we were able to accompany all of our belongings. 3. Room service as expected breakfast took a while but it came hot and when I needed assistance for other things in the room they responded quickly. 4. If I ever asked any random house keeper with direction everyone was helpful and would walk me in the direction if needed. 5. Check IN and Check Out was quick and simple. 6. The food at the buffets was good and good amount of variety. 7. Drinks were ok not to watered down for an all inclusive . 8 The amenities were fun, night club , casino, bowling 9. The burgers at The Valley are delicious and even better at 3am! lol. This spot is open all night The Cons: 1. Poor service at the restaurants. It already hard to get reservations so to get one and have long periods of wait time for food was excessive. One night we literally just walked out of the steakhouse to eat at the Atlantic buffet due to how bad the food was. They couldn’t figure out a dirty martini like what? At the second restaurant we had 3 out 4 since one of us was running late, before they even served water we were told the 4th person would have to make a reservation if she was late. Like what difference does it make if you don’t even have a table for 3 ppl? 2. This really got me we went to the Bavaro Coffee shop one morning and were asked if the food was to go which it was the girl literally wrapped the food in paper towels!!! I asked if she had plates she said they didn’t. See pic below bc I could not make this up! 3 . I literally lasted 4 days with the same beach towel bc by 10 am they were already gone and you would have to wait over 10 mins. 4 . A lot of rushing at the buffets even with more than enough tables open) as soon as you place your fork down someone is coming to get the plate at times we had to tell them we weren’t done. 5. I went for a wedding unfortunately right before heading to another location about 5 mins from the ceremony it started raining. I asked if they had umbrellas for us to borrow as we were told we had to leave that area and we were told no. So literally all the girls in the best outfits in heels had to walk in the rain. Instead of maybe opening the bar at the restaurant there until the rain subsides or have umbrellas like it’s DR in the summer rain is expected even if it’s a quick rain shower.

The hotel in 2021 was awesome and very clean. This time going now in 2026 the room was not clean and the sheets were dirty. I had to call housekeeping to change the sheets and bring fresh towels. The resort outside the rooms is clean and beautiful but inside the rooms you could tell they need maintenance. The sink stopper was broken. The shower drain cover was missing and was draining slowly. The AC was very dusty and the bed stayed humid. The sheets every night felt wet like they were wet from the washer and not fully dry. We got sick from the dust and humid sheets. There was no sign for the housekeeper to not go into the room also to not disturb if we were taking a nap. There was more things I could complain about but for what they charge per night is not worth it.
