Clean and nice staffs not that friendly but hotel located near train shuttle so dont have to be there all time

Very Disappointing Experience – I Felt Discriminated Against and Completely Unwelcome I stayed at this hotel from 12–13 September 2026, in Room 424. We checked in at approximately 9:00 PM on 12 September. Although the reception staff spoke politely on the surface, my experience with one particular staff member was extremely disappointing. The manner, attitude, and lack of willingness to assist made me feel that I was being treated differently because of my nationality or ethnicity. As an Asian guest myself, I found this particularly upsetting and unacceptable. I would like the management to seriously review the following incidents. 1. Extremely uncomfortable check-in experience We were a group of four guests checking in. At the time, I only had one passport with me. I immediately went to get the other three passports because I understood that they were required. When I returned with the three passports, another guest happened to arrive at the reception. Instead of allowing me to simply continue the check-in process that I had already started, the receptionist told me to step aside and let the guest behind me check in first. I found this extremely disrespectful. I had not abandoned the check-in process or refused to provide the required documents. I had simply gone to retrieve the passports as requested. Yet when I returned, I was effectively pushed aside in front of another guest. I genuinely do not understand why this was necessary. It made me feel as though I was being treated as a less important guest. 2. Completely inadequate assistance regarding parking The second incident was even more frustrating. I asked the same receptionist about the hotel’s parking arrangements. The receptionist explained the parking information and gave me a piece of paper, which I tried to understand. However, I could not locate one of the parking areas. I therefore showed the receptionist a photo of the location I had found and asked for clarification. Instead of properly checking the photo and helping me, the receptionist gave me a dismissive response and simply indicated that it was correct. I was still not convinced, so I went outside again and took another photo, clearly showing the parking sign. I returned and specifically asked whether I could park there. The receptionist then told me that I could park anywhere as long as there was no sign saying that parking was prohibited. This advice was extremely concerning. The location in my photograph was actually a different parking area, and the receptionist should have been able to identify this by simply looking carefully at the photo. Had I followed the advice given to me, I could potentially have parked incorrectly and received a substantial parking fine. What upset me most was not simply the lack of knowledge. It was the lack of effort to help. I was a foreign guest trying to understand an unfamiliar parking system. I asked a very reasonable question and even provided photographs to make the situation easier to understand. Instead of taking a moment to properly investigate or explain, I felt that the receptionist simply wanted to dismiss me. In the end, I had to go outside and search for the correct parking area myself. For a hotel receptionist, this level of unwillingness to assist a guest is unacceptable. Overall These two incidents, taken together, left me with a very strong impression that I was not being treated with the same level of respect and assistance as other guests. I cannot know the staff member’s intention, but the way I was treated made me feel unwelcome and discriminated against. A receptionist is often the first and last point of contact for a hotel guest. Guests should feel respected, welcomed, and supported — especially when they are travelling in a foreign country. Unfortunately, that was absolutely not my experience.
