This home is a new addition to the gated community that have pride of place on one of the few spots on Magnetic Island that the beachfront is at your doorstep and not a road.
This brand new home enjoys absolute beach frontage on the stunning foreshore of Picnic Bay. A very peaceful part of Magnetic Island. You will be transported to island time very quickly.

Our recent stay at Magnetic Daze was wonderful. Perfect for our extended family with well designed sleeping areas which gave everyone there own space. Picnic Bay is lovely to wind down after lots of sun, sand and waves (yes waves!) at Alma Bay. Very well stocked kitchen which allowed us to cook/ bbq most meals which is a good option for family groups. Part of our group was from Perth WA and they were very impressed. Only improvement suggested would be to include wifi as this is quite a high end rental. Overall everyone had a very enjoyable stay.

We loved Magnetic Daze. The house was perfect for our group of ladies and was very well equipped. It was neat and clean. The position was great. I would definitely stay there again. My only suggestion would be that it would be nice to have at least one bedside lamp in each bedroom.

This property was ideally configured for our 4 families for a significant birthday celebration.
The pool was well maintained and a highlight for the children especially as it was still stinger season. It was good to have beach towels provided.
It is a perfect location being a short distance to the Picnic Bay restaurants, brewery, hotel, netted beach and local walks.
The kitchen is well equipped and suited our needs as we regularly prepared meals. However, on arrival, the majority of pots & pans were in poor condition but were replaced by the property manager on the first day.
The lack of any bedside lamps was annoying especially when trying to read children bedtime stories. The overhead lights were very bright so not conducive to bedtime reading. It is also dangerous when getting up during the night with no light easily accessible. We note that the lack of bedside lamps has been expressed in previous reviews.
Quite a few of the flyscreens were very dusty and dirty and obscuring airflow. We cleaned some.
Overall we had a great stay.
