About this cabin rental
Askaway Retreat (formerly Piece of Paradise under same ownership) is a cozy and modern cabin, located conveniently in the heart of the Aska Adventure Area and just 5 miles to downtown! This cabin boasts fully updated furnishings and ample amenities. Enjoy the spectacular long-range views from the spacious deck, or cozy up next to the outdoor wood-burning fireplace. The upper-level master bedroom is luxuriously appointed with a king-sized bed, TV and a private full bath. The main-level bedroom has a queen-sized bed and is located directly across the hall from a full bath. The lower-level bedroom is outfitted with twin bunk beds and is situated opposite the third full bath.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range and oven, microwave, traditional coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and all necessary dish-ware, cookware and utensils. The dining table seats six comfortably along with a breakfast bar providing additional seating for four.
There are two sets of full-sized washers and dryers located on the main and lower levels.
On the lower-lever, there is a second family room, equipped with an electronic air hockey table, shuffleboard table, board games, and puzzles. A 55-inch TV adorns the stone fireplace with gas logs.
Stay connected using fiberoptic Internet via whole-home WiFi.
Firewood is provided for all guests.
There is a gas grill located on the back deck. Although there are two tanks available, we do not guarantee either tank is filled at time of arrival.

We cannot be responsible for weather related and/or personal emergency issues affecting travel. All guests are encouraged to obtain travel insurance.
We do require all dog owners to pay a non-refundable $175 dog fee at the time of booking. We also ask that you sign our dog addendum which will be sent to you after your booking confirmation.
Additionally, there is a Ring doorbell, which records video, installed at the front door of the cabin. There is also an Echo Show in the kitchen for the convenience of guests and is not set up for home monitoring. Guests are welcome to turn off/on the Do Not Disturb feature, or unplug the device should they choose. The Echo Show is connected to the Sonos system and the doorbell.

A beautiful cabin, location very close to downtown Blue Ridge! The cabin had literally everything you needed to have a wonderful relaxing time in the mountains! Would definitely rent this place again and highly recommend you doing as well

We LOVED this property. We are constantly on the go at home. This property gave us all the comforts to be lazy and enjoy a long weekend doing nothing. It has everything you need without leaving the cabin. We will most definitely be back to stay in this cabin again!

Location was great, property agent was easily accessible.
However, the interior of the cabin was not clean, there were dead scorpions under furniture, couch was very dirty, and there was a mouse inside the walls that apparently was making a nest all day and night during the stay.
Housekeeping crew needs to do a better job and not simply surface clean.
