The Riverfront Retreat is a beautiful custom home nestled on 2 acres, only a couple minutes drive from downtown Buena Vista and South Main. Open a window and you can hear the Arkansas River flowing by in the back yard or take in the beautiful view of the water and countless untouched acres of BLM land through the wall to wall windows in the great room. Take a soak in your private hot tub and look west to take in the Collegiate Peaks or east to the Arkansas River only 100 feet away.
The home features a 2 car attached garage, main level laundry, fully appointed kitchen, dining room, great room, outdoor deck and master suite. In the basement there is an additional 3 king bedrooms and a smaller bedroom with one twin bed. With 4,300 square feet, the house comfortably sleeps 2 families (there is an 6 guest max).

The Sabas have a large, lovely home that is well-stocked for visitors. It is very convenient to downtown Buena Vista, and has onsite access to the Arkansas River. We had four adults and one child, with lots of room to spread out. [Note if you are traveling with a toddler, there are several areas to be aware of: (carpeted) stairs to the bottom level, and stairs off the back deck to the yard. Access to the river is via steps down a hillside, and the river deck is at the edge of the bluff. Fine for adults and older kids.]

We had an amazing stay for 10 days and couldn’t think of a better property for our needs. Being right on the river with easy access to town is hard to find. We will definitely return and the hosts communication was very timely and appreciated.

This property was just what my wife and I needed for our time in Beuna Vista. We had 2 weeks booked at Crossroads of the Rockies counseling. This house is a 2 minute drive from that.
King size beds everywhere. The main floor bed is a bit firm but there are two more soft king mattresses downstairs. One that you can even look up and at the stars from.
I can't say enough good things about the property or Hillary. I would book again in a heartbeat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location close to town, plenty of room, and easy communication with the owner. We would stay here again.
