This property was wonderful. The home is beautiful and we were able to spread out. This place has everything to offer for humans and dogs. The driveway can be a little tricky. We had 4-wheel drive so it was okay. If you are looking for privacy and a great place to bring your pets along, you just found it!

First time to Arkansas for my husband and I and our two Border Collies, a hidden gem, I love it! I also love this home and property!
The outside had many private and remote acres of treed rolling hills with wide hiking paths throughout. Our dogs loved being able to roam freely and explore, and I enjoyed our daily jogs and hikes on the trails. For those dogs who cannot be trusted off leash, there is also a large fenced-in area in the back of the house complete with a mud room and doggy doors.
The house is amazing, like nothing I have ever seen, doggie art with stories from all over the world, fancy wood, dog (mostly Lab) and bear decor everywhere, automatic dog waterers, two dog beds (with a big fluffy teddy bear), electric fireplace, huge kitchen with everything, washer/dryer, two TVs (no internet, but cell phones work well), and even a hot tub. Unfortunately, the fancy carved wood stairs were too slippery for our two older dogs, so we had to carry them up and down the stairs to use the bedrooms and the hot tub and to enjoy the amazing views on the 3rd floor.
The owner (Davis) lives on the property in another house on the other side of a hill. I loved meeting him upon our arrival and hearing some of his dog stories, and seeing and feeling his deep love for dogs which truly showed throughout this rental home, dogs are truly the best!

We had a great time at Davis' place! The cabin is a work of art in it's own right, rustic, but, comfortable with a view of the surounding mountains and forest, which can even be viewed while soaking in the hot tub. There's plenty of room inside and out with trails around the property through the woods. The owner Davis is awesome! He is super easy to communicate with and helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed and scrambled to made an alternate route to the place when his bridge was damaged by the waters. If you do stay there, check out Crooked Creek Access a couple minutes down hwy 62 for a nice easy hiking trail that follows the creek. Anyway, the place is great, the pictures don't do it justice. Would love to stay there again!

My family and fur babies had a fabulous time. The place needed some cleaning up when we arrived, but we got that handled and we enjoyed our stay very much. It was so very nice to be able to take our pups with us. We enjoyed all the personal touches Davis has put into the home. We will for sure be back a lot.

Our family including children and dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We hiked the trails on the property and enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace or in the hot tub. The view from the 3rd floor can't be beat and we saw deer multiple times per day. The cabin had all we needed to cook all of our meals there. Our dogs loved the huge outdoor fenced area to explore on their own. Our kids loved the dog and bear carvings and artwork. Overall really amazing place to visit.

We had such a peaceful getaway here! Davis clearly has put so much thought and love into this cabin and it shows. And of course our dogs had an absolutely blast. From the pond and trails, to the dog beds and refillable water bowls. The cabin was clean and provided plenty of space. Views were beautiful and we saw deer almost every night. A must stay for all, especially those that have furry friends with them!

My family had a fabulous time! The cabin was great and beds were comfy. The cabin is isolated, yet close to many activities. We rented a boat, visited Branson a couple times, and hiked nearby. Everything was perfect for my family!

3 pak of Doxies welcomed!!
We were looking for a place that was secluded, had a hot tub and would welcome our doxy 3 pak. This 3 level cabin checked all the boxes and was beautiful, as was the view from the top of the mountain. Our long weekend was enjoyed by us and our doxies, as well. The dogs loved the never-ending water bowls, the large fenced in area for them to run around leash free and the doggy beds!! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us, Davis.

Pet Friendly Get Away
This property was the most pet friendly location we have ever visited in the nearly 20 years we have been using VRBO. The property has a HUGE fenced in area plus it's on acreage. Our dogs loved being able to just get out of the car and not have to worry. They were able to lay in the front "yard" and keep an eye on the property while they were waiting for the next woodland creature to emerge. We saw deer, rabbit, 3 skinks that live under the driveway, an armadillo, lots of very large birds (including an eagle), a bobcat and a bat that flew past us one evening under the covered porch. The best was the hummingbird couple that would come check in on us every time we were outside. They would hover within a few feet of us, look us in the eye as if to say Hello. You can hear the cows and chickens from a nearby property which was perfect for us. The home is equipped with automatic watering bowls which the dogs loved and they quickly learned that stopping for a romp in the creek before heading out for the day or heading back was now part of the routine. It was upper 80s during our stay so they enjoyed the opportunity to cool off.
Like the description says in the listing, the house is fun and not fancy. You aren't going to find high end finishes and plush furniture but you will find nearly everything you need (ladies, bring your hairdryer). Having said that the house met all of our needs. The owner has collected dog art from around the world and is displayed throughout the house. The third flood has the most amazing views. It is so peaceful. Although we didn't use every room of the house, there are plenty of options to spreadout if you have a larger group.
Davis is very responsive. He was on site staying in a different house on the proerty (which is separate and on the other side of the hill). We would chat nearly everyday like you would at home with a neighbor. He was very friendly and we enjoyed our conversations. Especially enjoyed meeting his four legged companions.
We have Verizon for cell service and never had an issue making a call or using it as an internet hot spot. The only negative thing to say about the house is that it would be preferred that two of the bathrooms have window treatments. It's a secluded location however, certain parts of the house should have some privacy.
We do look forward to visiting again whenever we are in the area.

One of the top places we have stayed
This place is amazing. It is peaceful. You literally can see no other houses from where you are. The view is magnificent. The house was so cool. It had everything we needed and was so comfortable. I wanted to live on the third floor and never come down. Communication with the owner was great. We will be coming back when we are in the area again.

Loved the cabin and solitude
We had a great time at the cabin. It was quiet, remote, and comfortable. We brought our GSD and it was perfect for a family with pets. There are automatic water bowls, a fenced yard, and a mud room. It was nice to have space to roam and explore. The kitchen was great, and there was a grill for some outdoor cooking. It was close enough to fishing and floating that we got to spend some time on the river and caught some trout. The area is great and there is plenty to do outdoors. We really enjoyed our time here and will be back.

Perfect Getaway
Our 2nd time here and once again a great weekend away from the rat race. Quiet, secluded, lots of hiking trails on the property, all sorts of wildlife come to visit late evening and early morning and it is pet friendly like no other. Lots of things to do in the area if you want to venture out. The hot tub is fantastic. I asked Casey how she liked it and she gave a resounding RUFF RUFF! We’ll be back.

Great Dog Hideaway Oasis
We loved our stay here and will definitely be back when we need a relaxing getaway with our dogs. We only left the property once to go check out Crooked Creek. Other than that the dogs enjoyed exploring the property and being off leash the whole time. Then we enjoyed our dogs being tired and soaking in the hot tub. We cooked every meal and enjoyed each other’s company. Everyone was very accommodating and made our stay smooth! We will definitely be back.

August Arkansas Getaway
My husband and I, along with our adult children and 3 pets, really enjoyed our stay. Ultimate family vacation with 2 dogs and a very geriatric 20 year old cat! All of us were comfortable and had room to spread out and relax! Amenities are just as described! We also enjoyed the area by hiking to Indian Rock House, Floating the Buffalo River at Spring Creek, and tubing on the lazy part of the river on two relaxing afternoons. We used the fire pit to make s'mores and cooking our meals in the cabin's kitchen. Loved it!

A relaxing getaway.
Easy to follow directions to the top of the mountain. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed coffee on the covered porch watching deer every morning. The dogs loved running around outside. Very quite and peaceful setting. We sat outside listening to nature every night. Enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back.

Mountain top Luxury stay
We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home. We had a view that was breath taking and the inside of the home was so cozy. To top it off the owner was there to help whenever we needed him. We really enjoyed our home away from home.

One of the best vacation homes you could find to get away from it all!
Mr Davis was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. The only thing I was disappointed about was that we didn't bring our lab puppies. You'll never find a place more set up for pets guaranteed! When he says "unique " 3 story home it is just that. We will return at least once a year to this property! Thanks Davis !

Great place to relax and unwind!! Beautiful mountain top views!
Loved our time me there and Dave has thought of everything you could want in a dog friendly resort! Furnishing were beautiful and functional. There was major windstorm that knocked out power for 2 hours but we felt very well cared for and power was quickly restored. We will definitely be back!! Thanks Dave!

The View from the Top of the Hill
My wife and I and our 14 year old golden retriever just returned from three days of relaxation. The property is very dog friendly and has everything you need. There are blankets for the couches if needed, waterers, kennel, toys and mud room. Our old girl did have trouble with the stairs( I had to carry her up and down because they were slick for her) but I didn't mind that. She's earned it. The property had everything that we needed. We cooked on the grill, had a fire in the fire pit, walked the trails, and enjoyed the hot tub over and over again. And the view from the deck is spectacular. You can see for miles and miles. Every morning and evening a group of 5 or 6 deer would come close to the house and graze in the yard. We sat on the deck and under the canopy and they didn't care if we were there or not. We did get out and enjoy some golf in Mountain Home and picked up some barbecue ribs& sides from Blacksheep BBQ in Yellville. I highly recommend the ribs. They go well with either wine or beer. This property is on the top of the mountain and the road is rocky and steep but it is worth the climb. Plan your day trips and meals right and you only have to go down and up once a day. Or just curl up on the deck or under the canopy with a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet. We will be back at some time.
