About this country house rental
Old renovated farmhouse located in the Principality of Salm, at 550 m altitude at the foot of the mountains, bordered by a stream. You will find a wide range of ideas for visits: large forests, rivers and lakes, a story that tells stories, sports and cultural activities.
The farm is 1 hour from Strasbourg with its Cathedral, also 1 hour from Colmar its Unterlinden Museum, the Wine Route, the Crest Road, the Hautkoenigsbourg Castle. Near: the three abbeys, the castles of Salm, the necropolises of the war of 14/18 etc.
The cottage is attached with a small cottage, with separate entrance, area 147 m2, classified 4 ****, comfortable, large fenced and a large covered terrace (barbecue and plancha) with a garden. Ground floor: dining room, kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge with freezer ,. A toilet.
On the 1st floor: 4 bedrooms (1st: with a 160/200 bed 2nd: 140/190 bed 3rd: 2 beds of 90/200. 4th: 2 beds 80/200, with a mezzanine with 1 bed 90 / 190. a toilet, a bathroom with shower massaging jets, a bathroom with spa bath. A large room (with table football, TV, board games, books ...) fireplace, sofa and armchairs. Baby equipment on request. Free WIFI. Linen, cleaning included, beds made on arrival.

Belle maison spacieuse et bien entretenue. La maison était décorée à notre arrivée et illuminée le soir, des biscuits de noël faits maison ainsi qu'une bouteille de mousseux nous ont été offert par la propriétaire. Bonne prestation correspondant tout à fait à ce que nous cherchions pour ce Noel en famille.

Een goed en schoon vakantiehuis met veel ruimte en een fijne veranda voor een ontspannen vakantie. De rust om het huis met de ruisende beek op de achtergrond maken het buiten zitten heerlijk. Het huis is oud in leeftijd, maar niet in de voorzieningen. Deze zijn goed. Vanuit het huis kan direct worden gewandeld. Binnen een half uur rijden naar verschillende kanten zijn heel veel mooie wandelingen in de Vogezen te maken, bijvoorbeeld naar de Donon of naar Cascade de la Serva en de Champ du Feu. Maar ook bijvoorbeeld het Lac de la Pleine is goed bereikbaar.
De mooie stad Straatsburg of de één na hoogste berg uit de Vogezen: de Hohneck, met prachtige pittige wandelingen liggen op ca een uur rijden vanaf het huis.
De ontvangst was heel prettig en de uitleg compleet.
Verwacht in de directe omgeving geen toeristische attracties. Voor rust en natuur een geweldige locatie.

Mooie omgeving. Schoon en ruim huis. Wandelroutes in de buurt. Hek om de tuin waardoor onze hond in en uit kon. Heerlijke badkamers. Overdekt terras, fijne bbq, complete keuken met oven enz. Voor winkels stukje rijden in de auto. Bakker op 10 mins rijden met heerlijk brood, taartjes en pizza.
