BAIRRO ALTO APARTMENT

This was a fantastic stay. First of all, Joao is a great host. He was super responsive from the very beginning. Way in advance, he provided a lot of helpful instructions and information. He has met us upon arrival, helped with the luggage, and explained everything about the apartment. At check-out, he has called a taxi for us and came to ensure that everything is fine.Apartment is extremely clean, very stylish, and very well maintained. It is equipped with everything necessary for a short or even long stay. Kitchen is very comfortable and has any utensils you may need.Property is located in a very dynamic Bairro Alto area. There are a lot of restaurants and bars just near the apartment. Many of them have live Fado music in the evening. Joao has recommended the restaurant with a fantastic kitchen that we enjoyed a lot. If you prefer to eat at home, there is a good supermarket in 3-5 minutes' walk from the apartment.When we come to Lisbon next time, we will try to rent Joao' apartment again. Apartment is located

This apartment was perfect for our five day stay in Lisbon. It was close to lots of places to eat or go have a drink. Getting to the metro or trolley or bus was easy. Host meet us at arrival and was super helpful. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom and shower are great. We enjoyed the CDs and player for some fun music. Various small grocery stores are nearby to get food and nespresso coffee pods. We used the washing machine (tip: bring laundry sheets/pods) and drying rack.The Bairro Alto neighborhood is fun and lively. We could often hear music from nearby restaurants. We were there Friday to Wed and the only night that was really loud was Saturday. But, we had enjoyed a night out so falling asleep was no problem for us!

The apartment was spotless and just as pictured. Our host, Joao, was there to greet us and show us everything we needed to know. He even had a wonderful bottle of local wine for us. He left excellent suggests for places close by to eat. We would highly recommend this apartment in the perfect location of old Lisbon.

Joao greeted us upon our arrival and provided information regarding the apartment and the Barrio Alto area. The apartment itself was very spacious and nice especially the lovely terrace. It’s located on one of the main streets in the Barrio Alto area. There is a bar right below the apartment that plays extremely loud techno music with a very heavy base until 3:00am. If you look outside the apartment windows, you’ll see tons of people standing in the street partying loudly. It might be the perfect location if that is what you’re looking for, however for us it was just too loud and we couldn’t sleep even with earplugs in. We left early and continued to explore Lisbon from a hotel.
