WOW! What a view! On our two months Europe sojourn, we've seen bridges of rich city of Vienna. We've seen Vltava river flowing under famous bridges of Prague. We've seen Danube flowing under magnificent bridges of Budapest. But deep green Drina river flowing under Mehmed Pasha's bridge in Visegrad beats them all! Of 48 hours in Visegrad, I literally spent 24 sitting on balcony and immersing the view. The river, the bridge, the town, mountains, sky. Just couldn't have enough of it. Visegrad and Eastern Bosnia are hidden gem that few people know about and few places in the world are this beautiful. Go there, while it's still undiscovered and dirt cheap. One day, you won't be able to afford it. Apartment is very good. For couple even too big. A large family won't be squeezed in it. Hosts are very nice. And you literally won't get better view of the bridge from anywhere else. Don't go into supermarket in the centre of town. Nothing wrong with it. But it's not different from any other supermarket anywhere else in the world. Go into old fashioned grocery stores you can find on every corner. Apart from being cheaper, that's where you'll meet locals and get idea how they actually live.
