Lovely house next to Euchan River

Beautiful house in a gorgeous location just a 20 minute walk outside the village. We loved waking up to the sound of the stream outside. Lovely comfortable beds with nice clean linen and plenty of towels. There was a bath and a shower in the bathroom and lots of surface space for all of our things. The kitchen had everything we needed, lots of dishes, cooking equipment, glasses and cutlery. Lots of really thoughtful extra details, such as the radio in the kitchen, a cupboard full of games and books, nice lamps in the dining room and living room and cosy blankets left out for us. We loved sitting in the living room with a glass of wine in front of the log burner, there were plenty of logs for us to burn. The host was particularly helpful to me after I made a mistake with my booking and even let us check out later than we should have.

No matches or kindlers to light the fire, but the garage just down the road had some. The vents in the log burner don't work. The WiFi was a bit dodgy and none of us could figure out how to work the TV's.

Location is stunning and it’s in an area that is so very quiet

The cottage has all amenities and facilities you require but some parts of the cottage are a little dated. This wasn’t an issue as everything worked but you can tell it will need upgraded at some point in the future
