I was so sad to leave Angelas and Ancora Praia. My fabulous hosts Maritza (originally from Venezuela) and Helder dropped me at the train station by the Plaza where there were sprinklers and mass plantings of flowers especially around the church.
The kindness of strangers, the sunshine and the beauty/aesthetic of this place by the sea and my fabulous little one room stone house with its hammock, outdoor furniture, and mountain views have warmed me in body and spirit.

Location set back from the town, but beach only 10 minute walk if that's what you want. Beautiful scenery on your doorstep if your a walker. Excellent affordable supermarket 5 minute walk and a wonderful cake shop 5 minutes on the way to town. Excellent train service to Viano do Castelo, Caminha and Valenca to explore the Portguese Camino which was why we chose here. The house was very cosy, comfortable, and peaceful, and hosts were very nice people who also came on several occasions to check we were happy. Caminha is 12 minutes by train where you can take a ferry or Water Taxi across the border to Spain.

Lovely apartment in a great location, close to the beach and promenade and a huge swimming pool. Good wifi, friendly hosts. Really enjoyed our stay. Safe parking aswell very close to the house.
The power went a few times when I had the oven and heating on. It was a bit cold in the kitchen/living area so maybe if there was one more heater it would be better.
