Casa Maria

Location was great, just a short walk to everywhere. The room, bed and pillows were comfortable and clean, the friendly host was very kind. After I checked out and arrived in Lisbon, the host messaged me that I had left a personal item behind in the room, which would have cost me a few hundred dollars to get it replaced in my home country. The host very kindly mailed it to my acommodation in Lisbon by express mail, and declined my offer of payment for the postage. Thanks to the host's help, I was able to return to my home country with it!

Everything was so lovely and perfect, Maria is so sweet and nice. Had an amazing balcony in our room and it was nice to sit out every night and enjoy the view and atmosphere. The room was spotlessly clean and it was the most comfortable bed ever, the water pressure in shower was good and the water was always hot. Magical place, couldn’t be happier with it and hope to return soon.

Location was good - close to the beach :) Maria (the owner) was very friendly and kind although she did not speak any English.

Located on the main road - so it was quite noisy at night and not great sound proofing and the blinds didn’t do a great job of keeping light out. We didn’t sleep amazingly here. Room was small (might be squishy if you have alot of luggage) and didn’t feel super clean either. Bed was not super comfy.
