The stay was satisfactory; however, our group of four, including two senior citizens, had an unpleasant experience during check-in. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 9:30 AM and requested an early check-in, as we planned to leave Pollachi the same day at around 1:00 AM for our return journey to Chennai. We explained our situation to the receptionist and requested both an early check-in and an early check-out. Unfortunately, our request was not considered, and we were informed that the standard check-in time was strictly 2:00 PM. We were also told that if we wished to check in at 9:30 AM, we would need to pay an additional half-day room charge. As we did not agree to the additional charge, we requested permission to use the restroom to freshen up after our journey. This request was initially denied as well. Only after further discussion were we allowed to use the restroom near the reception area. After refreshing ourselves, we proceeded to Aliyar Dam and eventually checked into the hotel at around 3:00 PM. While we understand that hotel policies must be followed, we believe genuine requests—especially those involving senior citizens—should be handled with greater consideration and empathy. We were disappointed by the manner in which our concerns were addressed, as the communication felt dismissive and lacked professionalism. When we requested the contact details of the hotel manager to share our feedback, we were informed that this was not possible as it was a Sunday. Overall, the experience left us disappointed, and we hope the management takes steps to improve customer service and guest handling in the future.

As the hotel was under renovation, Wi-Fi was not available and in our room TV didn’t work properly. Other than that it was good and located in main place
