Happy Sedi Lodge

This location is away from the noisy town centre and can be quite peaceful at times. My room was very clean and cozy, including the bed linen which were really fresh and smelled good. Also great that there was a decent table where I could work (that's VERY important for most travellers who work remotely, and there are so many of us - and so many hosts are just unaware of that...). And nice desk lamps too. The host who met me was very friendly and helpful! Of course the views and nature around are also superb. So overall it's a good place. But...

1. The WiFi is really slow (1-5 mbps at daytime and evening, maximum 10 at night) and very often it just disappeared for 1-3 hours. I had to use my mobile internet all the time. I wanted to move because of this but I was sick those days and couldn't do anything, so... :D But it you don't need to work then that's not a problem. 2. The noise outside right next to the building... construction works all day long starting from like 6 am!!... I know it can't be controlled, but that's really annoying and probably people should be warned at least... No rest or work during daytime is possible... Only during the rain it was quiet.

Most comfortable bed so far in Nepal. Ceiling fan was awesome. There were many electrical outlets to charge things, there was a mirror, and clean towels. There was not one thing broken in the room which is rare. The hotel is well looked after and the manager was always friendly and accommodating. We asked for a bucket to wash clothes in and he provided one and also invited us for tea one day. Never pushy, always friendly.

The shared bathroom was two flights down from our top floor room. At first I didn’t like this but I got used to it and the good things made up for this!
