Branch Lake updated lakefront rustic cabin close to Bar Harbor/Acadia Nat'l Park

Too lovely for words... left us longing to return to Maine and this amazing spot on Branch Lake.

Best stay of our lives. This was the perfect place to use as home base for our 25th anniversary. However you want to describe it cabin/cottage/house, we describe it as perfect. I don't know if this term is used, but I came up with "Rustic modern" as a description. Everything was very clean and well maintained, all the appliances were all excellent and worked flawlessly. The host was amazing & went above and beyond anything you could ask for. Everything from getting there, details on how to use everything in the cabin, to suggestions on what to do and where to eat locally. She quickly answered any questions we had. The access to Flat Rock and the views it provides on the lake & the sunsets is absolutely stunning. You can literally sit on a chair and catch as many sunfish, small mouth bass as you want 100 feet from the cabin. Would be an incredible place to take young kids to fish and enjoy the views. I could not believe how quiet the lake was for its size. I literally can not say enough about how incredible this place is. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, rustic modern place to stay surrounded by peace & quiet, at 1 of the most beautiful places we have personally ever witnessed, this is THE PLACE. The local shops & food in Ellsworth were all top notch. Acadia national Park is truly spectacular, and we should've spent more time there, but it was hard for us to want to leave the cabin. Thank you Sheree and Jason for an incredible stay in an unbelievable location.

The cabin was clean and easily livable. The view was beautiful. The host was easy to reach and very easy to work with!I would definitely return!

Beautiful cabin with modern amenities. Very spacious and clean. Waking up to lake view every morning was amazing. We'll stocked kitchen with everything needed, just bring the food. Would definitely stay again.
