Okay for the price.

Convenient location for the night market, quiet, nice proprietor, parking available and common area with coffee, fruit, cereal.

Cleaning could be better. Cobwebs and I dropped something that rolled under the bed…very dirty & dusty. One of our towels had grease stain?

Exception host Carl who took the time to guide us to experience the best of Vancouver.

Carl our host was a welcome greeter when we arrived off the plane from Australia at 1.30am. We chose this property because it offered a shuttle service and very grateful to have someone to rely on after such an exhausting trip. Carl was a wealth of knowledge about where to visit to get the most out of our four nights stay in Vancouver. Visiting Lynn Canyon, Stanley Park, and Deep Cove were the highlights. The facilities were perfect for our stay, offering breakfast facilities for us to use. The location was perfect for us to drive in any direction without fuss. Free parking outside on the street in a quiet neighborhood. We had slippers supplied to wear inside the house which we didn't mind doing. Fisherman’s Wharf was a special treat, as we enjoyed a sunset with fresh Salmon for dinner. Carl and his family offered up their home to us and we were very blessed to share the space with them. Courteous, friendly and generous with their time in talking to us.

Getting our luggage up the stairs but we were there for four nights so not really a problem. Up on day one and down on day four.

Quiet neighbourhood making for good sleep, comfy bed Informative and interested host Walking distance to find dinner/food, great food and service at local Pub Communal tea/coffee room. If summertime would be nice to sit out on deck for breakfast

Room on small side and en-suite a room next to bedroom so had to go out and then into. Nightlights good so you could visually find way during night Not an issue for us but no escalator, but winding staircase some may find difficult to get their bags up.

Pleasant host. Quiet location. Clean. Convenient for the ferry.

Advertised as having a garden, which it did, but no lawn chairs available so unable to enjoy the garden. Very cramped bedroom. No air conditioning. Minimal refrigerator access for any food. Not a comfortable bed.

This property is fraud on Booking.Com, and it's a pity booking.com is supporting the cheaters, this peorpty owener/booking.com cheated us an advance deposit of CDN 840 we went at the house, so called property. It was too bad. It was total far from what it was mentioned on site. We contacted customer care for refund but they refused, we didn't stay at premises not more than 30.minutes iBelieve not me but nobody can stay there.

Booking.com and Propty owner cheated us for Canadian Dollars, 840. And we now plan to file a suit in court of law for compensation and mental torture.

it is a converted house that the owner also seems to live in. It is very much like single living hostel or bed and no breakfast. there are quiet hours, shoes off at the door and it’s like staying overnight at an aunties house.

Nice home with a great host -- definitely recommend this place!

The room we had (#4) appears to be the master bedroom of the home. It had two queen beds, a huge walk-in closet, and a very large bathroom with both a tub and a separate shower stall. Shampoo and conditioner were provided, along with liquid soap (but no washcloth). The downstairs breakfast room had a small refrigerator where you could keep yogurt. There were bananas, apples, milk, tea bags, and a kettle to make tea available daily. There is a park across the street, and the home is in a neighborhood that felt safe and good for a stroll.

The beds were a bit harder than we prefer and the pillows were not the most comfortable, but I always bring my own pillow. The towels were thin, but they dry quickly that way! There was no hair dryer in the room. They said you couldn't shower before 7 a.m., which makes it difficult if you have somewhere to be early.

Service is excellent. And the owner provided comprehensive service such as shuttle bus, printing, tour advisory and so on. Although I don't plan any schedule before arrival, I still go over many good attractions under guiding by the owner.

Service was great, owner was more than accommodating; it was a 10-year anniversary and I requesting if they could write a small note in the room marking the occasion. Not only did they buy a whole card, but gave a personal touch to the moment by decorating the envelope for the card and some ornamental flowers in the room. Great service.

Nice quiet location but also near shops and buses. Host Carl was a top man and helped us with pick up and drops, with local information and advice. Room was very clean and well presented

Our host was lovely and friendly. Checking in and out was easy as well. The neighborhood was easily accessible and we were able to park on the street out front.

We didn’t realize the home wasn’t air conditioned. Thankfully the host set the room up with a fan. The washroom is fine, but the caulking needs a bit of work.

Richmond is a really nice and calm part of the city, and ny skyline metro it was super easy to reach the center and also the airport. The room was clean and nice. Our host was super kind and helpful.
