Giardini Acantus

We loved staying at Giardini Acantus! Chiara made us feel as though we were staying with friends. She is welcoming and friendly with good recommendations of what to do in the area. We loved hearing about her family’s history on the land, the working farm and trying all the produce they make. Nothing was an issue and we really enjoyed ourselves.

This place is simply heaven on earth. Surrounded by beautiful, fertile land, vineyards and gardens. If you are looking for a peace of mind, slow and simple living, far away from stress - this is it. The atmosphere is just different than anything we experienced during our road trip through Sicily. Chiara and her team are warm, relaxed, welcoming and genuinely take their time to make your stay unique and memorable. Chiara showed us around her amazing property and land, shared with us her passion for agriculture and high-quality fruits and products, gave us great tipps for restaurants and the nearby beaches (the Piazutta is simply amazing!). We tasted the fruits picked straight from her land and honestly these were the best, sweetest peaches, berries and passion fruit we ever tasted. Which brings us to the breakfast. Without doubt, it was the best breakfast we had in Sicily (and we stayed at 6 accomodations during our trip). Freshly prepared every morning by wonderful Mira, the whole breakfast experience was pure magic. Sitting in the garden under the passion fruit tree, you can enjoy delicious homemade food, fresh fruits and amazing coffee. I could go on and on about how special this place is, for so many reasons. We are incredibly happy we had the opportunity to experience it, and deeply grateful to Chiara, her father, Mira, and everyone else who made us feel so welcome, relaxed, and at home.

Somebody already wrote this - but leaving this place was the only thing we didn't like. :) Days after leaving we are still talking about this place and the energy it has.

Tipico fabbricato rurale ristrutturato e trasformato in b&b. Molto bello e curato, con ampio giardino recintato. Posto auto a fianco della struttura su area privata. In posizione isolata nella tranquillità della campagna, circondato da vigneti, il luogo ideale per fuggire al caos dei centri abitati. Chiara e Mira sono state gentilissime, ci hanno coccolato e dato tanti suggerimenti utili e molto apprezzati. Poiché abbiamo soggiornato per 6 giorni, è stata programmato un riassetto della stanza a metà soggiorno. Colazione varia, dolce e salata, con specialità locali e frutta fresca dell'azienda. Stanza enorme con parte dei muri in sasso a vista, letti in ferro ben armonizzati con la struttura, ben climatizzata, con cabina armadio, frigo grande con cella congelatore. Ampio bagno completo di asciugacapelli. Ottima pulizia, stanza profumata, così come la morbida biancheria da letto e da bagno. Super consigliato.

Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, in bagno aggiungerei un portasciugamani ed un piano di appoggio, ma questo non ha minimamente influito sulla mia valutazione a 5 stelle!!!

La camera era spaziosa, pulita e accogliente. Bellissimo il giardino in cui veniva servita la colazione.
