The Fisherman’s Cabin offers a private retreat where you can relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer.
Step outside your front door to a private 5-acre stocked lake complete with a sandy beach. Spend your days fishing for largemouth bass, catfish, and bluegill, swimming, canoeing, or simply relaxing by the water while taking in the beautiful countryside.
The Fisherman’s Cabin comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and features 4 beds and 3 full bathrooms.

All bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels for your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and everything you’ll need to prepare meals during your visit.
Conveniently located just minutes from Elizabeth, Illinois, and approximately 18 miles from Historic Downtown Galena, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance of privacy while still being close to shopping, dining, wineries, golf courses, and local attractions.

* Up to 3 dogs may be allowed with prior owner approval.

25 minutes from Galena, nice private stocked pond with canoe and paddle boats available. Nice escape from the city with beautiful night time views and great hosts!

I stayed at this cabin over Thanksgiving with my family and our golden retriever. We couldn’t have been more happy with our secluded stay and with how great the hosts had been. We will definitely visit again.

Private, secluded setting. Sand, swimming, fishing , fire pit on the sand beach. If you are looking for a place to just check out of the crazy rat race of life then this is your place!
