About this house rental

The 200-year old building was originally a barn. It served the home that is now The Artist's Inn and Gallery (a romantic bed and breakfast in Terre HIll). Through the years it has stored a small airplane, locally made cigars, and was the town's favorite spot for kids to play up until the late 1980s. Then it was converted into two units.
We have named it the Sisters House and this side is named after my Aunt Stella. There are two spacious bedrooms (king and a queen) upstairs, with a hall bathroom. The king bedroom also has a TV. The bath has a shower and tub.
Downstairs is knee and hip friendly - there are no steps! The fully stocked kitchen can seat six. There's a spacious living room, bathroom with shower, and queen size bedroom. You are also welcome to use the washer and dryer. The living room has a TV with ROKU and Netflix. The sofabed folds out to accommodate two people with plenty of sheets, pillows and blankets.
The best room in the house is the sunroom - you'll be able to see amazing sunrises and the views of the Weaverland Valley farms, some of the richest farmland in Lancaster County.
Downstairs is a covered porch with plenty of furniture, a grill and hammock. Feel free to also enjoy the fire pit that you'll share with the inn guests.
The Sisters House is on a dead-end street, ensuring quiet and safety. You'll be able to hear the Amish and Mennonite buggies as they pass by to go to the midwife's business just around the corner. It's just a short walk to Terre Hill park where there are tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, softball diamond and great playground. In the summer months, you can grab lunch at the pavilion - the proceeds help with park maintenance.
No need to bring anything - we provide all linens, towels, hair dryers, and stock the kitchen with plenty of food for at least two breakfasts.

If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, look no further!!! You’ll be so comfortable here you’ll wish you could take Bruce & Jan home with you. The entire house was spotless, decorated beautifully, spacious, within walking distance to a park and restaurants, and it wasn’t a far drive to anywhere we wanted to go. The beds are comfortable and there’s plenty of space in each bedroom to walk around without hitting your partner or tripping over your luggage. The bathrooms have plenty of soap, extra towels, and they’ve got the “good” toilet paper. The kitchen has everything you need to make any meal, and the living room is incredibly spacious. All of the reviews were spot on when saying there was enough food for multiple breakfasts and the cookie jar was jam packed! Jan is gracious with recommendations and thoughtful in her responses. She also was kind enough to let me know my peanut allergy was safe here as no peanuts used in the baked goods or cookies. We had only one issue but with one phone call, Bruce was around the corner in seconds and updated me quickly with the resolution. While all of those things are great, I saved the best for last…the sunroom! The views were amazing as was our time spent in there. It’s huge! We had breakfast in there and only needed to turn the air on in there once, otherwise the ceiling fan was perfect. Thanks Jan & Bruce for sharing your little “Slice of Heaven” and for being such wonderful hosts.

Had a great stay here. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The back patio was very relaxing place to hangout and chill. Very close to many attractions and beautiful Amish country.

We stayed in the Stella side. It was clean and stocked with all we needed. I loved having my morning coffee in the sunroom. There was a great playground and park within walking distance. The owners were very lovely . The cookie jar full of homemade cookies were delicious!! Would definitely stay here again,
