Globetrotters Den-Basement Apt

This globe-themed basement apartment is conveniently located less than a mile from downtown Colorado Springs in a quiet neighborhood only a block away from Memorial Park. Modern conveniences, wifi, and comfortable furnishing make this a great place to stay.

The space:

With a fully functional kitchen including coffee, tea, and some snacks, you have everything you need to cook. Don't like to cook? Don't worry! There are dozens of restaurants downtown only a short drive (or long walk) away.

You must also acknowledge
Pet(s) live on property - we have a 7 month aussie doodle puppy who loves people
Amenity limitations - Heat is only regulated upstairs, there are space heaters in the rooms for added comfort.
Potential for noise - Family lives upstairs 3 kids and a baby and a puppy
Must climb stairs - This is a basement apt. One flight of stairs.
Some spaces are shared - There's an entrance hallway that is shared. Possible shared laundry

Guest access:

You will have the entire basement to yourselves, however, there is a shared mudroom/entry hallway/laundry room before leading to the separate entrances for upstairs and downstairs. 3 kids, a baby, and I are home throughout the day and depending on what room they are in, can be heard from downstairs. Our yard is partially landscaped, but still a work in progress. You are also welcome to use the shared patio space which includes hammocks, a porch swing, and a fire table. Memorial park is only a block away and has lots of green grass, space for walking/running, playgrounds, tennis, volleyball, and more.

Interaction with guests:

We, a family of six (three kids and a baby), live upstairs and should be available for any emergencies/assistance. We stay connected with guests from the first inquiry to the final checkout. A keyless entry to the house provides easy check-in.

Quiet Hours: 10 pm-6 am

If you plan to come to Colorado Springs to smoke marijuana, please choose a different property. We have found the strong smell stays on clothing and transfers to our furniture and bedding. We want to keep our home completely smoke-free for all our guests!

We allow no pets indoors due to keep our cleaning/repair costs low.
