Excellent communication with the owner
Very nice two-level apartment (I honestly do not understand the comments about the stairs. They are easy to use, even when carrying a dog. There is also a second entrance via the terrace with regular stairs.)

Great location: there is a bar/restaurant right next door and another excellent restaurant nearby (De Mar)
The apartment is a bit dark, but that is mainly because it is located in a historic building with relatively small windows. On the plus side, it stays cooler during hot weather.
Novigrad is not a particularly tourist-oriented town. During our stay, however, there was a national holiday weekend and a fish festival, so it was quite busy and finding a parking space was often difficult.

Standard of apartment was very good.
Well equipped kitchen. Nice beds.
Dish washer and washing machine.
Staircase from ground floor to second floor is dangerous. Hard to get up on, a adventure to get down on. Your happy every time you survive. And when its mended with cable ties it doesn't make it safer.
The apartment is very dark. You will have to have lights on all day.
The terrace is a joke. The only thing you see is brick walls. No sun, no view.
