Villa Resilienza

Both Ottavio and Sara were so very welcoming. We felt almost part of the family. We had wonderful time at their beautiful place. It was modern and clean and ideal for the three of us in our accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble and they regularly picked fruit from their trees for us and, when we went to the beach, Cosimo (Ottavio's father) lent us some parasols. We were lucky enough to be there during an operatic evening in the town square, as well as a dance the first night we arrived. Amazing atmosphere and the food at the local restaurants was fabulous. We would certainly return more than anything, to visit the family again, not to mention little Lycia (the small kitten ;) ) Thank you. all of you, for making our holiday at Hotel Resilienza so special. On arrival we were welcomed most gracefully with a cold drink and an Italian coffee, which after a long drive, was gratefully received. We were then given some home grown figs which were delicious. The owner and his son were kind enough to book us a table at a local restaurant and even turned up at the restaurant to see if we were ok. We were also given lots of local information on where to go and what to see. We had a quick cool down in their pool and an extremely confyvstay in a modern, clean villa for our early departure the next day.
