Romantic terrace over Hollywood Stars

This apartment was perfect for us. We loved having the kitchen and it was perfect with the market across the street. Also, having the clothes washer was so nice considering we had been traveling for a while. The terrace was absolutely lovely for morning coffee and a glass of wine at night. Communication was immediate and easy and we will definitely stay again.

The apartment was very cozy and very nicely decorated. It was perfect size for two people. Kitchen was a huge plus as was the laundry amenities. Its location was central to where we wanted to visit in Paris. It is close to the Rex Theatre … so fun to people watch everyday Parisian night life.

This apartment was perfect for my husband and me. The location is amazing! It was so easy for us to get all over Paris, and there are good places to eat and shop nearby. The building is safe and clean, as is the unit. Jad was a wonderful host and communicated effectively via WhatsApp. We were in Paris during a very hot week, so the apartment got a bit steamy - but the windows and fan helped us get a breeze that cooled it down. Highly recommend to an individual or couple looking for a convenient home base when exploring Paris!

The check in was pretty smooth. The apartment is quite small. The sofa in the one living room is also your bed to sleep in (pull-out sofa), which means you have to make it up at night and then fold it up and put away the bedding in the morning. There is very little room to store the sheets, pillows and comforter so we piled them up on the only other bench in the room during the day. The kitchen and bathroom were adequate for the two of us. Unfortunately, we were in Paris during the recent heat wave so the temperatures in the apartment climbed close to 90 degrees. There was one oscillating fan which we faced on us as we slept or just sitting on the sofa to try and keep cool. Also, the apartment is situated next to a large movie theater which showed the World Cup football matches live. Hundreds of fans attended these showings, probably in part to escape the heat. After the games there was much celebrating in the street below the apartment until sometimes the wee hours of the morning. Other nights there was also street noise on a smaller scale. This was a problem because we had to keep the windows open for air flow so we got the full volume of cheering, laughter and loud techno music. On a high note the balcony off the living room was lovely while the nice weather lasted, but we stopped using it when the heat wave hit. We realize that the host cannot be held responsible for the heat or the noise, but I wanted to give the potential renter a heads up on these two issues.
