The host was extremely pleasant and punctual both before and during the stay. The Villa had a super match for 8 people with fantastic facilities for everyone. The pool and terrace area were absolutely fantastic. Grocery shopping was just around the corner and we had very short walking distance to the city center.

There was nothing we did not like about the host, villa or Croatia. :-)

it had lovely views , was well appointed

we were a family group of grandparents, parents and 2 children aged 3 & 5 . The Villa is not very child friendly, open staircase in property, no bannister in a lot of the outside stairs and no separate fence etc around pool. we had a good holiday but this turned sour at the end when owner contacted us demanding we pay money due to us not following property policies ! during our stay a shower screen in the sauna area shattered, we had not used the area and only discovered this a few days into out holiday,. we called the owner to advise him of this ,he said not to worry as it would be covered by insurance . on our last days the owner did not turn up as agreed too we could handover keys etc so we left these with the cleaners and informed then that a plug had become stuck in a sink that morning ( many of the sanitary fitting were loose ) . The owner messaged us later in the morning and apologised for not being there and wished us a safe trip. A short time later he started sending messages saying we had damaged an outside tile , we explained that the tile was like that when we arrived it was clear from the video that this was an old weathered chip. he started demanding money and sent several threatening voice messages , threatening us with the police etc . we then got an email from booking .com advising that owner wished us to pay £800 . we explained the situation. the following day we received a further message demanding £1800. We remained concerned so contacted . the local tourism office and the local police ( thankfully one of our family members is a local ) . This is the first time we have experienced anything like this and it was very unsettling.
