Obviously the beach and the views from this apartment/condo are really lovely though there's not much in walking distance. It also has nice showers with good water pressure and warm water. It has a large TV and overall the place was pretty clean, so in general the place is fine.

(1) I didn't like that the host doesn't give an exact, GPS-able address that I can use. It's really hard to navigate in unfamiliar territory based on a picture and a URL that doesn't work in Google (or any other) navigation app (2) I don't like that they required a $1000 peso CASH deposit. They should collect it through the booking system or figure out another way. We had to give an exact time of checking out so that they could inspect the condo before giving us our money back, and then had to wait around for him to arrive 20 minutes late for the inspection (3) I thought the person greeting me was short/rude when checking us in, though he seemed to try to be super friendly when checkin us out, but I was over it (4) The internet is spotty and which network works is constantly changing, which is why they give you about a half dozen network/password combinations to try...very frustrating to have to keep cycling through them! (5) There was clearly fresh drinking water delivered to the ground floor of the building and a pump in the condo, but no mention was ever made of it when checking us in, so we had to get our own drinking water (6) With no warning whatsoever, extremely loud drilling repairs were being made in the condo below us. I complained that some warning would have been nice so we could plan around it, but they said it was emergency repair, so notice wasn't possible. That's absurd! I manage several properties, and even for emergencies, someone has to (a) receive the complaint about the A/C not working (b) then schedule the repair (c) then wait for the workers to show up to do the repair. Rarely does this happen in less than several hours, but even if you're a miracle worker, even an hour's notice is helpful. Otherwise your guests feel like you don't even care that their stay is going to be interrupted. Communication is key.
