Narie Little Cottage

Modern and clean and easy access to the property. Lovely big bath. Very comfy bed. We brought milk with us and coffee so the big fridge was useful and there was an excellent freezer.

The bathroom was down a very steep flight of stairs! Not a problem for most people but not suitable for anyone elderly or limited mobility. We found a parking place in the street but was not clear whether the one space in front of the garage was for our use! The communication from the property did not include a post code and there are several Brick Kiln Streets in Brierley ( 12 minutes drive between them). Instructions inside the property did not include local groceries or pubs/ food providers. So directions for milk suppliers would be useful.

Excelkent clean facilities and I will 100% recommend

Nothing

Comfortable bed. Host provided me with late check out as my trains was cancelled. Very helpful and accommodating. I found the room is clean and cosy.

None

Narie Little Cottage was easy to get to, had a large bathroom, all the essentials and seemed to be well cleaned and maintained. Though the kitchen and bathroom were shared, they are only shared with one other room. Getting into the property was convenient using the key locker. There were no unpleasant surprises and the property was mostly fit for our needs.

The bed was too soft and we did not have a good night's sleep. It had two mattresses on top of each other. We recommend the ower invests in a better mattress for their guests. The decor was a acceptable but the choice of some paintings was odd and Audrey Hepburn featured in all of the house rules. There was tea in the cupboard that went out of date in 2020 and did not taste good.
