A very modern, well. equipped apartment about 8-10.mins walking from the beach (downhill and uphill)..Good kitchen with all. You need for basic cooking, coffee machine, Kettle, and comfy beds/bed sofas. The ad says 70 m2 but this includes the spacious terrace which features a sofa and a second dining table. The apartment itself is small. Bathroom with rain shower.. Also an extra (closed) shower you can enter from the terrace which comes in handy when arriving from the beach.

The uphill location brings some wind but requires also walking up from the beach. The apartment is located closer to the main provincial road which can result in some traffic noise (but usually not much traffic at night). You need a car for bigger shopping (only two small stores in town) and getting somewhere. Street parking available, Only difficult on weekends when the village gets flooded with sunbathing guests from the Hinterland. Italian law and the (in)famous Sicilian bureaucracy requires a tedious check-in process with copying all your IDs, filling in contracts or documentations forms in Italian (never had this experience elsewhere than in Sicily) . The deposit of 300 is only payable in cash (with receipt). There's an additional tax of 2 Euro per adult per night which isn't mentioned in the ad.

Nice apartment with everything we needed

The interior design was very new and modern (03/2019) and the kitchen has a nice oven and stovetop etc. The quality of pans and pots was subpar but usable. No sharp knives. You could see the see from the terrace. The bathroom was very modern and stylish. The entire apartment was very clean.

Although modern, the interior design was the opposite of cosy: very bright lights that could not be dimmed and the furniture etc. was more functional than pretty. It lacks "heart". Important: The bedroom does not have a large double bed but two single beds that are somehow affixed together with a mattress combining foam thingy. Thus not ideal for couples. The length of the bed was probably 1,80-1,90. Too short for me to sleep stretched out for me (1,90).
