The property itself is beautiful, with a great view, convenient parking, and plenty of space.

The host’s attitude felt unfriendly and unprofessional. If there are specific house rules, they should be clearly explained at check-in, not brought up later in a raised tone on a dark staircase. The main issue was the air conditioning: we were told it was set too low, and the host appeared to monitor it remotely through an app, which felt intrusive and uncomfortable. Afterwards, the host sent a very unpleasant message with personal remarks. Communication with guests should stay respectful, factual, and professional. Although the property is advertised as pet-friendly, this was not reflected in practice. The sofa was covered with a sheet and the chair with a cover, but no real dog-friendly amenities were provided. There was no designated area on the property for walking the dog, so it was difficult to reach the suitable grassy area in time without the dog relieving itself somewhere along the way. When this happened on a neighbouring property, we were criticized, but no practical guidance or solution was offered. The host also seemed generally uncomfortable around dogs. Housekeeping was minimal and required requests for basic things like changing bed linen, towels, and even extra toilet paper, only one roll was provided when asked. The jacuzzi also had very limited availability, with only three daily time slots and the last one ending at 19:30, which made it inconvenient to use, especially since evenings would be the most comfortable time. In our room, the AC was located in the living room, so the bedroom was very hot to sleep in.

We had a wonderful stay in Makarska! The location was stunning—nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views of the islands Brac and Hvar. At night, the clear sky was full of stars like I’ve never seen before. The place was newly remodeled, clean, and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. Peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing—highly recommend!

Evenings are calm and quiet. Just an sound of silence and if you lucky, some gust of local bura wind. Balcony view is a killer, all local islands at palm of your hand. Apartment was spotlessly clean. Beds are comfortable and fine for sleeping. Galley is just good enough for some minor cooking, if you are into it.

Due to an unresponsible guests, which been inside the apartment, before us, we were forced to check-in with delay. Owner not to be blamed for. Just irresponsible guests. For both days we were in, quiet loud older guy (probably owner himself or his/her dad), would start already at 7 o'clock, with loud talk, having some rakija with early bird or just to play a local card game, known as briškula or trešeta... I mean, if you are into tourism, you should sustain with a such an early habbit, waking up all guests you accommodate. I am also into tourism and I would never allow this behaviour into my property.
