Gite de provence - Bayons

Élodie and Ethan are fantastic hosts, by the time we left we felt we were part of the family ! The place is very cute and if you are looking for genuine local experience then look no further. Ideally located if you drive further south from Serre-Ponçon lake. Plenty of walks around and Élodie and Nathan guided us to some exceptional waterfall nearby. We regret not staying a second night, we will be back !

Such a super find, thanks to the wonders of the internet... on tour on my motorcycle, I would never have otherwise come across this little gem. Ethan was super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I arrived just as a storm broke so couldn't enjoy the bar/terrace which was a shame as it looked SO inviting.... My room was great, clean and ticked all boxes. I had a great night's sleep in perfect silence. A tasty breakfast (a perfect omelette) saw me on my way the next day. I would recommend anyone to pay this little place a visit, it's timeless. Oh, and I got my own private parking space too ;)

Great hosting couple that made us feel at home. Immediately felt like old friends. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The apartment was spacious and very nicely furnished and decorated.

After long cooking and dishwashing the hot water was not quite enough for evening shower.

The host man was friendly.

The breakfast was not worth the value at all. Croissants, bread and cereals were too old. The place itself, on the terrasse is not charming at all and has no view. It smells tabacco in the place.
