Charming stay in Cernobbio

The host was very communicative which made it easy to check in and check out. The kitchen was fully equipped, so we were able to cook dinner both nights we were there. The apartment is very spacious and is good value for the cost per night.

The bed was too firm for me. If you are relying on public transport this place is a bit of a challenge to get to. There is only one bus that goes up and down the mountain.

Comfortable room, a small aperitif was prepared for us, everything was clean — a perfect accommodation. I can also highly recommend the nearby restaurant! Visitors should definitely be aware that the road leading to the accommodation is not easy! You have to drive on a very narrow road to reach it — but in return, you'll get a beautiful view of Como along the way. The last 300 meters before the accommodation are especially narrow; it's not even worth trying with a larger or wider car. We arrived in a 540d Touring... it was very tight, but we managed to park at the accommodation. ( see photo )

An excellent place to spend the evening

Very comfortable and spacious for our family of five adults. Well appointed so we had everything we needed even though our stay was only one night. This would certainly be a good place to stay longer and have more time to explore the area.

The drive up can be a bit stressful if you aren’t used to such narrow roads but we took it slow and were able to get our rented SUV to the property and into the drive way.

The location was good for exploring Lake Como. Apartment was comfortable and clean. Hosts were very helpful. We had a very good stay.

Nice and quiet place in a very Italian village close to lake Como

Very nice property in a small quiet village. Good facilities and clean place. Nice living room and big bedroom with one double bed and a bunk bed with 2 sleeping places. Nice view of the Italian country side. The host was super nice and treated us very well. The communication via messaging on Booking.com app went perfectly. Very quick responses and great advice on the places to eat in the area and how to get to the property. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge to store your good food and wine. Some wine and other refreshments are also provided (at extra cost). In summary: great value for the money!

The only thing to keep in mind that the roads leading to the property are very narrow, so if you are coming by car (and it is not an Italian mini-sized car) it is better to park on a public parking nearby (5 min walk).

The place was very well equipped with everything, host was super friendly and helpful. Location is really quite with a bar/pizzeria close by and location is close to main Como attractions.

Nothing really but last few meters of the road are a bit tight so one might opt to park a few meters away rather that driving all the way to the location. Having said that we had an SUV but managed to make it.

Nice apartment, but not easy to reach

Nice apartment, good facilities and nice to recieve water and cava from the owner!

The road up is really hard. Steap, small, only 1 car at the same time. Better to park at cemetary and walk up. The hosts tells you this when you book. Listen to her ;) Inside the house (top floor) it was really windy. Water is shower is not hot. No view from the house and the host only speaks Italian.

Nette Wohnung hoch über dem See

Schöne, gemütliche Wohnung mit allem was es braucht. Sehr sauber und neu(wertig). Nette Eigentümerin/Verwalterin, die wir aber nur per WhatsApp kennengelernt haben (Zugangsinstruktionen). Die Wohung liegt hoch über dem See und ist über eine schmale Strasse mit vielen Kehren zugänglich. Der Ortsteil ist hübsch, es gibt eine Bar mit Restaurant und einen kleinen Dorfladen mit integrierter Bäckerei (oder umgekehrt).

Die letzten 150m und die Zufahrt zur Wohnung bzw. dem Parkplatz sind ziemlich eng und für grosse Fahrzeuge oder weniger geübte Fahrer eine Herausforderung. Es gibt aber einen öffentlichen Parkplatz 450m von der Wohnung entfernt bei der Kirche. Ins Zentrum von Cernobbio am See sind es fast 5km. Das muss man sich bewusst sein.

Sehr angenehme und saubere Unterkunft zumal für Kurzaufenthalte (Durchreise)

Wir waren nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise zu Gast aber dafür (und auch für mehr) perfekt geeignet. Der (überschaubare) Ortskern ist fußläufig erreichbar aber zumindest eine Bar / Pizzeria ist vorhanden.

Für uns kein Problem, aber wir waren schon vor der Anreise darauf vorbereitet worden, dass die Anfahrt etwas schwierig werden könnte aber mit einem Motorrad gut machbar. Mit einem (zumal etwas größeren) Auto würde ich es nicht versuchen wollen obwohl umzäunte Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus waren, aber die Zufahrtsstraßen sind wirklich SEHR eng und verwinkelt. Kein Wunder, dass hier alle Fiat Panda fahren 😁. Zudem sollte man sich im Klaren sein, dass der See ein schönes Panorama bietet, aber ein gutes Stück weg ist.

Tudo impecável. num primeiro momento pensávamos que não seria possível estacionar perto do apartamento, devido ao estreitamento da ruam mas tal não se verificou, havendo sempre estacionamento à porta de casa.

Casa super accogliente, comoda e con pareti in sasso a vista spettacolari. Bagno essenziale ma perfetto. Zona super silenziosa per un relax garantito.

Una sola pecca: l'aria condizionata sarebbe il top. La zona è comunque fresca ma chi soffre di allergia come me fatica a dormire con finestre aperte.

Un sejur incarcat de romantism!

Locatia este foarte frumoasa, amenajata cu mult bun-gust, luminoasa si moderna, amplasata pe un varf de deal, accesul cu masina fiind un adevarat test..... De aici si pana in centrul orasului se coboara abrupt, pe scari (pe jos), avand parte de privelisti minunate! Am reveni cu drag si cu urmatoarea ocazie!
