About this villa rental
The charming town house Can Tatau, with space for 6 people, is situated in a quiet area on the outskirts of the small village Santanyí. It is fully air-conditioned and has a living room, a dining room, a small reading room, a well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and offers a perfect blend of typical Majorcan surroundings and modern furnishings. Facilities also include Wi-Fi, cable TV, a baby cot and a highchair. On the idyllic terrace equipped with garden furniture, barbecue and pool ( 24 m²) you can enjoy relaxing holidays surrounded by Mediterranean plants. On the first floor there is another terrace with awning from which you have a wonderful view over the roofs of the city. Thanks to the ideal location of the holiday home, shopping facilities, restaurants, bars and cafés can be reached in just a few minutes on foot. The nearest beach, Cala Santanyí, is 8 minutes by car.

We were greeted by the owner and his wife (Miquel and Maria), who explained it had been his family home since he was a boy. The property has been updated and beautifully refurbished with a spacious,quirky layout. Well furnished and very clean. Kitchen equipped with everything you would need for a self catering holiday, laundry equipment and dishwasher located in a small outbuilding by the pool. Good sized bedrooms and shower rooms upstairs and down to cater for the whole family. Garage for off street parking. Good wifi and airconditioning.
The outside space is stunning and very tranquil, making you forget you are in a small town. Lots of room around the pool for sun sunbathing etc,, dining table and chairs for alfresco dining and a roof top terrace with shade for anyone wishing to escape for even more peace and quiet. Miquel comes to clean the pool every few days with his amazing pool "robot".
The town itself has plenty of choice for eating out or getting your morning cake and coffee, as well as a market two days a week.
You will receive a warm welcome from Miquel and Maria, who stay close by if you need any assistance.
Complimentary essentials in the fridge and a full fruit bowl await you if you stay in this property.
Highly recommend - would definitely stay again.
