About this villa rental
Come and enjoy this lovely home with family, relatives or friends! Fully equipped: e.g. free wifi, private pool, outdoor shower, beautiful garden, spacious full kitchen, children's toys, bbq, air conditioning, sliding screens, good beds, generous towel package including beach towel.
Separate 3rd bedroom with bathroom for more privacy.
To control the mosquito population, the garden undergoes 1x/month (May to October) a very effective treatment. Less mosquitoes = more peace and comfort for our guests!
In the quiet urbanization Ortembach this charming villa is situated on a plot of 1000 m2. The house is centrally located in a beautiful and well-kept garden with an illuminated private pool, several terraces and lots of privacy. Also available for long-term rental (longer than 1 month) for which rates are negotiable. You can contact us by mail.
The villa can accommodate up to 7 people and 1 child up to 2-3 years. For the 7th person, an extra bed can be added in the studio on request. It is light and tastefully decorated. There are a large number of good Dutch books (novels, thrillers etc.) and board games available.
On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with an extra-long King-size bed (180 x 210 cm.). Hairdryer available. The third bedroom (max. 3 beds) with a totally renovated luxury bathroom (2022) is located in the studio in the basement. The studio has its own entrance and can be reached from the outside. If you come with 2 families or older children, the studio offers extra privacy. All bedrooms are equipped with excellent air conditioning systems (hot / cold) and also equipped with mosquito nets and blackout curtains or shutters.
In the winter months the house is centrally heated with a gas-fired central heating system.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, an electric ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, juicer and a hand blender.
Ironing board and steam iron are available.
Your safety has also been thought of. There is a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector in the kitchen.
In the living room is the digital satellite TV that among others can receive channels from the Netherlands, England, Germany, Belgium and France and more. With the DENON receiver you can listen to your favorite music using Bluetooth. A chromecast is connected to the television which makes possible to download your own subscription as Netflix, You Tube etc.
The fireplace makes it extra cozy in the winter.
At the large dining table in the dining room, it is not only pleasant dining but you can also use the many board games that you have at your disposal. Both lounge chairs provide the opportunity for a siesta or to read a book.
Around the beautiful, illuminated pool there is plenty of room to relax on the sun beds or to roast a fish on the bbq.
You can also use a lovely outdoor shower (hot / cold).
On the roof terrace you can enjoy the view, see the Penon d 'Ifach and watch the stars in the evening.
Before your arrival you will receive the information booklet and directions to Casa Prudentia by mail. You will be welcomed at the Casa by Sonia, our enthusiastic hostess. Sonia will show you around the house. She is fluent in Spanish, German and English.
The beds are made for you on arrival.

Energy costs (winter) period 1 November-1 April:
Energy costs for electric, gas and water are charged according to consumption. An advance payment will be charged for the consumption of gas (heating), electricity and water, which must be paid on site. At the end of the rental period, the remaining credit will be refunded.

We are happy to recommend Villa Prudentia after a wonderful 8 week winter stay. Villa Prudentia feels like a home, not a holiday rental. Our villa host Sonia was lovely and gave us lots of useful information and a great welcome. The location is great for walking 20 minutes into Calpe old town or to the seafront and its many bars and restaurants. Lidl is just a 15 minute walk. The Ortenbach area is peaceful and the villa is private and well screened with landscaped gardens that provide shade in the hotter months. The kitchen was very well equipped, with a spacious dining room looking down to El Penon d’Ifach and of course, there is an outdoor BBQ area and several places to sit and relax. Family visitors enjoyed the privacy of the cosy studio with its modern new shower room. The weather was very mixed during our winter stay and although the villa has heating, we enjoyed the warmth and atmosphere from the open fireplace. Logs were easy to buy just 5 minutes away and we filled the car boot several times. Highly recommend Villa Prudentia and we certainly hope to return.

Lovely villa in a tranquil area. Very private, places to sit in the shade or sun, plenty of sun beds, beautiful large clean pool. Loads of space inside. Aircon in bedrooms was welcomed. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything (and more) than was required to cook meals. A great relaxed stay for us

Lovely clean pool and surrounds. 2 great outside dining areas where we spent most of our time.Kitchen was very well equipped. Aircon was installed in all bedrooms. Check in and out was easy. The property manager was local and very helpful, always on call for advice if needed.Small supermarket 5 minutes away with a daily fresh bakery. Large Lidl supermarket was a 15 minute walk and a 7 euro taxi ride back.Local beach was a 25 minute walk away with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Taxi back was 10 euro.We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Really lovely villa and pool - very well set up for families with young children. Host very helpful all the way up to stay and the lady that welcomed us and was our contact during our holiday was absolutely lovely. Would recommend.
