Appart face au mail

Sylvie the owner is just the loveliest of hosts. We could not find our way in to the apartment because most of the roads in the area were closed due to major road works (community heating I think). After Google directed us round in many circles, Sylvie came out in her car to meet us and navigated us past the road works. The location is right next to the Cathedral, so couldn't be better. We parked in a disabled space very close to the apartment which was free with no time limit. The only caution would be that the stairs up to the apartment are many. We knew that before, and managed them Ok, but we left our heaviest luggage on the ground floor. Although breakfast was not officially included, Sylvie provided enough supplies, together with her home made jams, for our breakfast the next day. Which was an unexpected and welcome surprise.

Nothing really, headroom getting to our bed was quite low in places, but that was a limitation of the old building

Het appartement is prachtig gelegen in het historisch centrum van de stad. We genoten van de gezellige sfeer op het pleintje in de buurt. Het appartement is ruim, goed onderhouden en voorzien van alle comfort. De gastvrouw had in de keuken alles klaargezet voor het ontbijt. Ze is bij ons vertrek ook vriendelijk afscheid komen nemen.

Alles was in orde.

Appartement très bien situé, très agréable; la propriétaire est très avenante, à l’écoute de ses locataires. Nous avons été ravis !
