Clean and a little further away from main tourist centre
Surrounding area has quite a lot of graffiti, but then, so does Athens now. Area quite safe just a little unsettling when you first arrive. We loved the appartment though!

Charming with lots of character. Great location, spacious, and very comfortable. Plus, provided luggage storage! Host was very communicative & helpful. Checkin & apt access was so easy.

Within walking distance to most attractions and beds very comfortable.
The area itself was run down and opposite the apartment there is a Sex Cibema. This resulted in men hanging around until the early hours, felt very intimidating. The photos on Booking.com portray a very airy well lit apartment with lovely views from the balcony. In reality it is like a building site outside, workman starting drilling around 7.00am, no windows in lounge or kitchen. Views from Balcony are looking onto a site. If owner did not photoshop images on Booking.com and was honest regarding the above, guests would have lower expectations and possibly give a more positive rating.
