Watch the sunrise over Haleakala or the whales in winter from our lanai. Stroll the five mile sandy beach, boogie board, wind surf or snorkel the reef out front. You could not ask for a better location than Sugar Beach Resort. Our 4th floor ocean view unit, with island-style decor, is a privately owned, non-smoking, upgraded, well maintained one bedroom/one bath unit that has everything you could possibly want to make your stay a perfect one.

As homeowners of this condo unit since 1997, and another non-rented unit at Sugar Beach Resort since 1988, we take great pride in our rental property. I personally inspect our unit when I visit Maui about every 2-3 months and update, replace inventory or make necessary improvements during each trip. Our cleaner is outstanding. She knows the unit, as well as our expectations, so together we can assure you of its cleanliness, quality of furnishings and organization of contents. The centrally located beach front location makes Sugar Beach Resort a perfect choice for your trip to the island of Maui. Come and enjoy all that our unit at Sugar Beach Resort has to offer. Our stay at this unit was perfect. Having stayed at Sugar Beach Resort a couple times, we cannot imagine a better location to enjoy Maui. The beach was incredible for our daily walks. Walking on Sugar Beach each day was wonderful. The central location is perfect for drives to many sights (Hana, Haleakala, many hidden beaches, wonderful restaurants), whale watching (from shore and tours), and just walking on the long beach right at the doorstep. The stay was enhanced by the host actively communicating through our booking, planning, arrival, and visit to Maui. Her assistance and suggestions before and during our visit was appreciated. She has the condo very well stocked with appliances, basic household supplies, and many other things not expected in rentals. We were immediately at home with all we needed. This made is so easy for us to live on Maui for the month of our stay.The lanai view is amazing with great sunrise views and a shaded lanai in the afternoon. Sunsets on the beach are equally incredible and only steps away. Having Dina's Sand Witch onsite for a local bar was a positive for us also.We will keep this Sugar Beach unit on our list of places to stay again. We also will recommend this specific rental and host to our friends looking for their own Maui Magic escape. For anyone looking for a rental on Maui, this one should be on your short list!

This condo has everything you need. It sets the bar for what a rental should be. As others have said all you need to bring is your clothes and sunblock. The host provides the rest!This is the most well appointed and clean property we have stayed in. The kitchen has all appliances you need, all the spices, baking, entertaining and storage dishes needed. The washer and dryer in the condo is a nice convenience too. The bed is comfortable.The Beach equipment is all in good working condition, pool noodles, chairs, umbrella, mats and coolers.The host is great at communication and even provided some great tips based on our interests. The property is well represented in the photos and the location is great, right on the beach, quick access to anywhere on the island and the property grounds and pool are well maintained.

This was our second time staying at Sugar Beach Resort. We love it here ! The condo has everything you need for an easy stay, literally you just need to bring your clothes and bathing suit! Linda is an amazing host, very communicative and caring of her guests. Sugar beach resort itself is an awesome place to spend the day by the pool or at the beach, with easy access to other parts of the island from this location. The lanai has views of the water and is a great place to sit and have your morning coffee. We will definitely return to this property again

Linda's 1 bedroom condo was just what we needed for our first trip to Maui and our 20th wedding anniversary. From booking, check in, and check out--the process was seamless despite the COVID restrictions in place. Linda went out of her way to provide us so much information regarding COVID traveling requirements and had all the information available that we needed to provide Safe Travels. The condo was spotless and had so many extra amenities such as beach chairs/supplies and laundry detergent making our stay carefree! Even though the condo is ocean view and not ocean front, don't let this detour you. We had a great view of the ocean, pool, and Mt Haleakala and if you book during whale season--you will see numerous whales from the lanai!The condo is centrally located on the island in Kihei, and made it easy to get to where we were going on our daily adventures in a reasonable time. The beach front to this condo is Sugar Beach that provides miles of walking, beautiful clear water, and even many places to snorkel. We also walked the beach to the farmer's market and ABC store for fresh produce which was a bonus for us since we prepared many of our meals in Linda's well stocked kitchen.Don't wait! Message Linda to book! She was always available to answer any questions and checked in on us to make sure we had all we needed prior to arrival and during our stay. We will be back to Maui one day, and I hope Linda's unit will be available for our next stay!
