About this house rental
This property is the perfect destination for your family’s needs and desires! Enjoy gorgeous views, multiple sitting areas, private bedrooms, 8 fireplaces, 10 TVs, on-site laundry, and a spacious kitchen for meals and entertaining. The downstairs great room is a kid-friendly area for games or lounging on the sectional sofa and watching movies. The floor plan separates the kitchen from most bedrooms, ensuring quiet for early risers and sleepers. The mansion sleeps up to 20 guests with 5 private bedrooms/bathrooms (3 king beds, 2 queen beds) and a kids’ bunk room with bathroom downstairs (2 bunk beds with queen top and bottom, 1 futon bunk bed with twin on top).
Need more space? Rent an additional area for 6-8 guests connected to the downstairs great room. This includes 2 private bedrooms (queen beds) and a living room area (2 futons).
Weddings or large events are allowed for an additional charge, with a maximum of 50 guests (20 overnight). A separate contract is required—please contact Jessica for details.
Summer months are ideal for boating, kayaking, and fishing. Bring your boat or rent our pontoon for a daily fee. Enjoy the large backyard for games and peaceful evenings around the campfire. Kayaks are complimentary for guest use and shared with our other property. We just ask that they’re returned after use so everyone can enjoy them.
In winter, the mansion offers a cozy escape with fireplaces, ice fishing, snowshoeing, sledding, and snowmobiling.
There is a 7-night minimum stay during summer months and a 4-night minimum stay during other months. Enjoy a 10% discount for weekly stays during fall, winter, and spring!
We are located about 10 miles off interstate I-94. About 90 mins from St. Paul/Minneapolis (MSP Airport, Mall of America). Woodbury ,MN (Wood bury outlet malls) 45 mins away. Eau Claire, and Chippewa Falls are also about 45 minutes away. 15 minutes from down town Menomonie.
Cottage Winery, Lucette Brewery , Golf courses, Red cedar Speedway, WoodWind Park, Hoffman Hills State Recreation, Valley Pasture Pumpkin Patch, Govin Farm and more family entertainment less than 15 mins away from this amazing property!!!
There are nearby restaurants that are accessible by water or land. Jake's Supper Club, Pioneer Grill & Saloon and Elk Point Resort are easy access by boat or vehicle. Jake's has three decks and a fabulous Tiki bar over looking the lake with live bands every weekend in the summer months. Pioneer Bar & Grill is walking distance from Jake's Supper Club, in a country setting with great entertainment! Elk Point Resort has karaoke every Saturday night and put on the BEST firework show every year on July 3rd. Great food and fun atmosphere!

The house was perfect for our Women’s Wellness vacation. Jessica our host was always in contact and very responsive. I can’t say enough about this place-and everything was as posted on the site!! We will definitely be back!!

What a beautiful place with an even better location! There was an issue before we got to the VRBO, and the host messaged us, explained the problem, and offset the cost due to the minor inconvenience!

Wonderful property, very responsive host, loved unique layout allowing for many guests without being crowded or noisy and allows for groups to stay up later or go to bed early. House was very clean and plenty of towels/linens and kitchen supplies. Great property for large group, would come back again. Maybe for kids 1 year anniversary. Hosting my sons wedding party made the event even better. Couple minor items not a big deal but handy to know broken big ice maker was told about so bought bunch bags ice, air hockey not working no biggy. It is on the the lake but access is off river though and swampy there so if want to swim need to boat out some way. We all brought swimsuits but no time anyway. If come hoping to use lake would want to be aware though.Thanks for making our wedding weekend even better.
