River Run Village, Blackbear Lodge, Steps to gondola, Beautiful mountain views

As close to the lifts as one can be and everything from check in to parking, made our stay in Blackbear Lodge perfect. The unit was clean and comfy and the support by the owner and property management were first rate (we extended our stay at the last minute due to a snowstorm and everything worked like clockwork despite the chaos of the bad weather.) We will definitely come back and stay again next time we come skiing.

We loved our stay! The location is so perfect for hitting the slopes and enjoying the Village at Keystone. The condo was very nice and had everything we needed. Wonderful!

This location was great. It's a very short walk to the gondola and restaurants in River Run. The condo was fine for a family of four but it's not big by any means. There is access to a locker for ski storage which was great. There were a few negatives. We found a used wet wash cloth in the bathtub and a used cue tip on a table in the living room. That's pretty gross if you ask me and definitely raises concerns about how well the condo is cleaned between stays. The temperature in the condo was VERY warm. We had the heat off completely during our stay and we still had to open windows to keep from being to warm...in January. Finally, the hot tub outside was pretty gross. It did not look like it had been cleaned recently. Overall, I would stay here again since the size of the condo worked well for our family and the location was great. If we had similar cleanliness issues again, I would look for other options.

Our view was of a large construction site. We were awakened at 7:45am on Saturday by work. We should have been told about the construction and at least been offered a discount on the lodging.
